6466820697 Called at approx 2:29 pm Automated service sounded in the background, suddenly stopped and an Indian(Pakistani accented) young male voice said "aeloh,?" I responded "yes, who is this," ... and he rattled off a very swishy labially garbled phrase. I said, "excuse me," and he restated the same intonations saying "you're looking for used phones?" I said; No I'm not, and he said "OK goodbye.." and hung up.

This number calls me daily and everytime I answer they just hang up. Then when I try to call it back can't connect. How is that possible?

Received a call from 646-682-0697.  A man with a heavy indian accent told me that I had been approved for an auto loan and he wanted to confirm that it was me.  I provided no information.  I attempted to call this number and could not get through.  Went to www.areacodedownload.com/646/682/index.html and saw that the number belonged in New York (Manhatten) and belonged to BROADWING COMMUNICATIONS,LLC.  Went to broadwingcommunications.com and was redirected to level3 communications.  Called 1-720-888-0012 and asked for the fraud and harassment section.  He took my complaint and said that he would forward to fraud to be investigated.  If this is proven, the line will be cut.  This company, level 3 communications is an international provider of fiber based communication services.  Take the soft  approach and ask for help or you will be told that if you are not one of their clients, you must have your provider contact them as they have no control over your telephone number.  Surely one would think that selling of these services to international people would warrant closer supervision of it.  Complain to everyone you can.  Robert

This number 646-682-0697 has been calling my cell # this week (12-22-09).  Now I am getting several calls a day on house #.  I have answered several times, but no one is there.  Called at 7:00P.M. on Xmas Eve--very annoying.  How do we stop them calling???

This number is another out sourced Indian phone room scam to get money from a profit loss called Schedule C on tax forms, and shabby businesses set up these little fly by night phone rooms in India and then take a loss and get your number from payday online or even if you order from ebay these days. All they need is your phone number, they call so much! I tell them, "I'm sorry So and So has passed away!" Do that a few times and you will be rid of them.

This number is calling my fiance's phone as well. They keep asking him to give them information. I am also having a problem with the number 777-888-9999 calling every day up to four times a day, when I answer nobody is there, and I can not call the number back.

The number calls several days/week. When I answer no one says anything. I have tried to call the number back and I get a message that says the number is disconnected.

They call me everyday at the same time and on weekends call me 4 time a day. ranging from about 8:30AM-10:00PM. And I have only go to answer it once, cause during the week i am at school, well i finally answered it, and unlike what all you are saying it was silent. and then i repeated "hello?" and they said "hello is so and so there" and i said "no this number does not belong to them" they said "sorry, our mistake" and called back 2 hours later.

I got a call and they hung up and then I called back and it wouldn't go through, they called back in about 5 minutes and then I couldn't hear anything. I just won't answer anymore, they only call my cell phone.

This number calls my cell phone daily, never says anything, just hangs up after a few seconds. really annoying.

yeah i am getting the same calls, sounds like some noise and then gets silent what is going on, and when i call it back there is a busy signal.

they now have called 3 times in less then 30 minutes claims my loan was approved and has been there all day wants to verify information with me. seems like they are just tring to get information. I did not give them any and said i had no car loan then he said refianceing. I do not have any loan. told him to quit calling me he said he will call everyday everyday everyday good bye  he sounds alot like a dot head. all of the calls i have reported here are coming from these people. how are they getting phone numbers?

loud static when i picked up then someone i cant even tell what they are but they couldn't say my name and i told them not to call me again and then i hung up the phone a minute later they called back i was not able to understand them i told them i did not care what they had if they can not speak english and get out of this country and not to call back the number comes up as new york NY 1-646-682-0697

No details they call and don't leave a message twice today.
