Contacted me about a recreational vehicle for sale.  Wanted to buy this vehicle "for his brother-in-law's anniversary in his job because, but the issue is I am an information technology" which has nothing to do with the ad.. Asked twice if it was in the condition that I listed. SCAM!!!!!

This guy just text me about a car I listed in Craigslist. It's obvious that he is a scam.

This guy is a bigtime scammer! He has two different numbres and wants to pay me my asking price. He wants to buy my camper for his stepson and wants to pay the full price. I told him to f***-off!

I was just contacted by this same number, thanks for reporting this number. This time it was Graham Bohm and he wanted a gift for his son. Same drill he asked for paypal information.

This number called asking about an ad for a truck on craigslist. He says he can't call back because of his location of work. He then asks for your full name and pay-pal account info. Do not do it.

Other posters say they have had success in forwarding these illegal texts to 7726. They are picked up by your cell phone carrier who will ask you to send them the phone number so they can investigate and have spam filters installed to block the texts. This person is using a well known scam. Contacted me about an item I had for sale on Craig's List and claimed to be an oceanagrapher. It's a scam involving Paypal and Western Union. Do not give them any information. This is a common scam that can be researched on the web, as it may come from other numbers as well, but definitely don't give this number any information.

JUST GOT THE SAM TEXT AND HE SAID THE SAME THING AS WELL I WILL BE TURNING IT OVER TO THE AUTHORITIES . I WILL TRACK THIS GUY TILL HE IS FOUND.......

well apparently these ppl work in teams lol... my husband got a text earlier today from a 1-646-481-2358, which is a scam too and just got another txt from this number 1-646-719-0612, Jessica Davis, saying they want to buy our motorcycle... come on ppl get a life... always check a number before responsing to their text about payment...

I also was slammed by constant text today on my cell by who they say there name was Jessica Davis. in regards to a Case Davis Trencher that is posted on ____list.
the conversation then grew wanting to pay by pay pal and yes this was the only way to pay the asking price because she is a oceanographer. once I got there e-mail address I sent an invoice to her or whom ever they are.
they then text back that they received this e-mail prompt. and paid 1100.00 over  so I could then go to a western union and get the cash for her client for Pickup payment. I then played dumb with a text back that we where set for pickup and there wasn't any need for western union because I have cash LOL!! called the bank , got a hold of paypal and I also now filled out the forms for the fbi to handle it. ..... now there is a block for this # from my cell phone company...  isn't there anything else we all can do to stop this kind of crap? I am just a normal person wanting to sell an Item.

I also got a message from Jessica from this number and 646-801-3605.  "She" said she wanted two different items on craigslist.  That's what tipped me off when we got the same exact message on both items. That sent me researching the two numbers she used.  She said her works schedule is "flexible" and wouldn't be able to look at the items.  She must not have a good understanding of the English language if she doesn't understand flexible. Scammers!

This person is a scammer. He only wants your paypal info. he also uses the number 414.810.7344 and goes by the name Kenny Chantel and says he's an oceanographer.
