Copy/Pasted from a similar number

For those seeking jobs because you saw the Craigslist ad, read what I have to say about ICC.

I worked with this group. I know the biz and their ways. After the last shop, I thought about going back to make some quick cash, but declined when I thought about the big picture. I'm not sure what your plans are down the road, but the atmosphere inside a high-pressure/aggressive phone sales type place is making a buck without concern for a client's account. "Churn and Burn" as they like to call it.  If you see yourself in Investment Banking/Sales & Trading/ or a white-toe shoe spot down the road...or EVEN an MBA--I'd be careful. If you want to jump to a large firm like Morgan or Merrill; the first question they ask is "Is your license clean?" They don't want anyone with arbitration filings or complaints inside their office. It looks bad to bring someone in with a beat up license. This is one reason why Jim Ignatowich is at ICC.  His FINRA record has several complaints, including a churning accusation. This is public information by the way, readily available online at FINRA Broker Check.

The big banks / B Schools / and professional institutions look at  your series 7 license as a reflection on  your character. If you take the job at ICC to get your series 7 & 63, go for it--but be careful.  Good luck.  If ICC is the best interview you could land, go for it, but just know that the records of who you might be working under are far from clean.

Just got a call from Brian White.  Caller ID was 646.722.8126.  My boss didn't recognize the name so I told the guy he wasn't available.  I was surprised when he didn't hang up on me like most brokers.  Nevertheless, when I asked "Will he know what it's regarding?" he said yes, thanks, and hung up.  What a jerk.

We got the call today from "Brian White" at 646-722-8126 asking to speak to my boss regarding a corporate bond matter.  He could barely speak English - or atleast English that I could understand.  I figured this was something like this so I was not surprised to find all these messages when I Googled the number.  What scum!

"George Stone" called and left the number.  I return all my calls, although I suspected this was a cold call from some kind of broker.  When I called him back, it was clear his manner is not very polished.  As soon as he said he had a 12+% bond that he wanted to sell me, I told him I was not interested, and the call ended pleasantly enough.  There is no 12% bond in today's economy that is not risky beyond reason.  He was not as persistent as some I have had to deal with.

Hey, George Stone calling from (646) 722-7791, don't call here again. We are not interested in buying or investing with you, and we have NEVER had any conversations with you about a corporate matter or anything else.

Same deal for me.  Told me it was concerning a "corporate issue" and that he'd "spoken to my boss in the past" and that "he would remember."  You're right - he thinks we're idiots.

I get frequent calls from this number, usually they will not give me a name or a company and insist on calling back later when I tell them the person they're calling for is not available. Most are pretty rude, today was actually an improvement.  Today's phone call was from someone who gave me the name Mike Philips from ICC. I'm pretty sure they all hate me since I never let them get through.

For those called by this number, the call is from ICC - Investors Capital Corporation.  This is a chop shop brokerage firm, and you got called by their New York office.

The names of the brokers in this group are Andrew Parisi, Jim Ignatowich, Robert Estevez, Mike Murphy, and Paul Cammareri.   The last brokerage these guys were at got shut down by FINRA and the SEC (If you want more stories about these guys, just look up 866-403-2078, 866-543-3934, and 646-722-7770, and 646-448-3535).  As you will be able to see, they harass secretaries all day long.  They sell bonds that were bought for a lower price some time ago, and are quite risky.  They also sell risky, thinly-traded stocks.

Jim Ignatowich's market knowledge does not run very deep.  His strength is sales.  He got wiped out, and wiped his clients out, on tech stocks 10 years ago and he also lost a lot of money on real estate this decade.

Their source is no more than the Martindale Lawyer Directory.  They often call multiple attorneys at the same firm on the same day, often within five minutes each other.  They really think personal assistants are not smart enough to see through their lies.

If you are a personal assistant reading this and they have called you, write below how they treated you on the phone, and let's work together to make a big dent in Jim's business.   Doing business with this group is asking to lose your money.

Jeff Glossik is another one of Ignatowich's merry men at ICC.   They are stockbrokers who make money by charging a large commission then churning your account.   I would not recommend doing business with them.

Remember, they want you on the phone to sell you.  Just hang up the phone and eventually they will get the message and stop calling you.

This guy Jeff just called and said my boss would know what it was about. I politely said that my boss would NOT call back if he did not know what the call was in rerference to.  I googled his name and found all these comments.  What a scum bag.  Do they think we are that dumb??

My boss gets these calls periodically - they will NEVER tell me what they want, call back over and over, and get verbally abusive when they don't get through.
Block the calls - also from 646-722-8126.

He called our office today and asked for the senior partner by name.  He said that he wanted to discuss "a corporate matter."  The partner was busy with a brief, and Jeff asked that we call him back at (646) 722-6596.  I'll post under that number as well.  Thanks for the heads up!

Jeff Glosick called from this number. I asked what he was calling about. He said he'd "had a conversation" with my boss and "he would remember."

He is a bond salesman. My boss had to hang up on him.
