Checked on messages from my work phone and there was a blank message...just a tad of static and click.  Why they would even go thru and listen to the V/M message I have.

I recently called the social security administration.. and i had the option for the automated system to call me back when it was my turn.. and the computer said "The number you are calling from is 646-723-6905. which is not my number my number is 585-627-XXXX. I have this line through vonage which is VOIP over the internet so this might be some type of gateway number that appears when you call internationally or long distance? i don't believe that this is a person.. its a gatway that voip providers must use.

I don't remember getting any calls but today I found out my paypal had an added "work" number; I talked to Paypal security and they could tell it was added in Dec of 2007.  I removed it and changed my password and security questions.  

Not sure how the number got there (around that time I was trying to order a puzzle from a Canadian company whose vendor# showed up at Mastercard as a gambling site...I also had just experienced an eBay bookseller who was scamming buyers) so I don't know if there's a connection.  My son thinks maybe I opened an email pretending to be Paypal.  

Because Mastercard changed my card number (besides good angels on their job :)), I've had no problems.

This number was also put on my paypal card as my home phone #. It is nothing near what my number is and dont know how it got there. Called Paypal told me to delete it and change my password. Evidently someone got into my account and changed/added this #. Not good.

I spoke with a gentleman who was offering me health insurance for only 29.95 a month full coverage so i took it. I gave him my name, address, credit card number and social security to complete the billing.This company is legitimate and not a harassing telemarketer.

Didnb't get a call from this number, but my Paypal acount had the phone number changed to this.  Not sure how or why but I got it changed back.  I too called this number and got the recording about telecom New Zealand.

I belive this person is a stalker and hacker..been dealing with him for over 2 years...:(

This number called my house phone and my wife's cell phone. They didnt leave a message and when I called back I got the same recording as April advising of a international call. The funny thing is that they called on Christmas day 5 minutes apart.

I forgot to mention, when I called back the number the recording said "Telecom of New Zealand has listed this number as unreachable or no longer in service". Sounds kinda fishy to me!!!

I am afraid someone has stolen my husbands identity... they are using this number. Not even close to what we have!! Please help!
