Just called them back, recording said it was for a rewards card because i had visited their website.  It didn't say which website.  It did have an option to go on their Do Not Call list.  Sketchy though

yes same here they called me today. i dont answer calls i dont know and plus they didnt leave vmail so its not that important

Got the one ring call today at 10:56am. No voicemail message. After seeing the comments posted here, I'm not calling them back.

yep they just called me also and hungup as soon as i answered, but i dont even live in nyc anymore hm weird

2nd time today unknown caller has called me.  Both numbers are coming up in Google search as scams for money.

I also got a call from this number, but they didn't leave a voicemail. Shady.

I decided to call the number back from an anonymous blocked caller ID number
Went directly to a VM and it said:

Hi, This is Julie with Reward redemption.  We called you because you recently visited one of our affiliate websites.  And in appreciation we have a rebate card for you redeemable at popular stores and many more.
press 1 now to receive your card
press 2 to be placed on our do not call list

Did not leave a voice message.

do not call , get yourself help and get a job DO NOT CALL PEOPLE, IF YOU DO NOT HAVE SOMETHING BETTER TO DO

same here they just ring me twice then hang up so i called back and it was some gift card scam

I tried calling them back, it was an automated message for "rewards dept", I pressed 1 and there was a live person, I promptly hung up.  Total Scam.

You cannot be charged a premium for calling a 646 number. But this is a telemarketing scam.

No way. I'm pretty sure you cannot be charged a premium for calling a 646 number!  
It's a regular NYC mobile area code.
Some other kind of scam perhaps.

Like everyone else, literally one ring and call ended. No message or anything. Definitely blocking, save yourself the trouble.

This seems to be one of those scams I saw on the news recently, they call you and hang up after 3 rings spiking your curiosity,  you call back and get charged for a "premium service" on your next phone bill for about $16.

Maybe he/she is in Asia & is spoofing their caller ID.

Only one ring. No chance to answer. Maybe he/she is watching this & getting a kick out of it.
