they called me a bunch of times. some foreign guy saying i had lawsuits for something I did not even get.

are they still calling you? do u think they really will file lawsuits.

I have  the  same  calls on my  phone . i did reported to the secretservice  and    FBI .. this is  a  scam  call ..

These people are scam artist. They will use different company names, phone numbers, and people names. They have called me at least 25 times. They are now calling my relatives. Please report them to the FTC. These people need to be stopped!!!!

I've received the call several times.  Again the caller was very RUDE, and with a non-U.S. accent.  He identified himself as "Lee Johnson"  and the caller ID actually shows up on my phone as "052928512"

Left me a voice mail which I could not understand. I had to get others to listen to it to help me get the number. They left message saying something about a lawsuit on me. I called back and very RUDE person.   Curtis Jackson said I owed a pay day loan. I asked to who and he said Advance Cash USA. He had my CLOSED checking account, drivers licenses, all my information. I got disconnected so I called back and this time sopke with Frank Morgan who said they are attorneys.  Then I said I called my back and you said it was deposited in my account on 6-10-09 which my account was not active at that time. Very rude he said NO on 10-6-09 and I called bank back nope not a deposit in my account. I have called back and now told them this and said I will contact an attorney he said ok you do that and hung up on me. SCAM

I am getting so tired of these scammers.  I had a message left on my answering machine at about 11:30. At approximatly 12 pm I called them back and the number was disconnected.  I applied for a payday loan about a year ago - never took it because the terms were so harsh - and now I have been dealing with these scumbags every couple of months. Always the same indian accent speaking broken english and spouting all these stupid threats. They have even called my work.  I keep reporting them - but every 2 months it starts all over again.  The person who called this time was Jack Wilson form ACS - then he said something I couldn't undertstand.  Also said that there were 3 counts about to be filed against my social.  These people need to be stopped and sent back to whatever third world pit they crawled out of!!!!

I got the same call this morning from a foreignerr named Matt Brown (?? seriously??) the number on the caller id showed up as international 052928512, but he left a call back number of 646 783 4922. All i could get from the message is that it was some lawfirm ACS and that someone filed a lawsuit against me and they had a file "related to my name and social security number".  I had to call them before they sent the file over to the courthouse.
First of all, if there is any lawsuits pending or anything being done, the court will have something on record already so this is absolute bull. Also, a lawyer with a name of Matt Brown will actually know how to speak English, and a REAL lawyer will not disclose the issue he's calling about, especially on a voicemail.
I have applied for a loan online so I am guessing this is how they got my information. Last time I'm entering any data on the internet.
The number is based in Myanmar/Burma so definitely in India.

First got a call on my cell phone from Scott Snyder with call back number of 646-783-4922  in which he was from the American Legal Services firm in New York he claimed to represent a company about a payday loan and he would  fax some paperwork to avoid a lawsuit. I never received fax so I had my wife call back to the above phone number then some Amon Watson talked to my wife giving her different info. on an account so my wife called back then was transferred a Mr. John Anderson he was very rude and aggresive wife also mentioned to him that she had surf the net and the BBB and told him that their company or phone number did notregister on the BBB website he said there was nothing she would do. My wife then also asked how come Mr. Snyder had not faxed to paperwork as promised and Mr. Anderson mentioned that Mr. Snyder's daughter had passed away this morning. Mr. Anderson also called my wife on her cell phone number with this number 760-520-0000 to tell her to expect a lawsuit on Monday when she called back the number is disconnected.

I just got a call from this number and couldn't understand the caller other than he was calling for michelle or mich or someone else but he was from ACS saying that I had very serious things on my credit report and that if I didn't call him George Harry back his next call would be to my employer. there was no number listed in the caller id it came up all 0s. glad I have Magic jack so I don't have to listen to this crap if I don't want to. It just goes to voice mail and if I don't know the number I can delete it and don't even have to listen to it.

I just called 646-783-4922 got a a busy signal.  I haven't received a call from this number since I went on the FTC website and filed a complain,  maybe that is why the number is not working. I hope the FTC
did something about my complaint.

The 646-783-4922 number call me for some money I own them. I ask the guy for more information,but he hung the phone up on me. The company is call  ACS  and the phone number is 646-783-4922. They told me I they were calling for a cash advances USA, collection for the amount of $300.00 dollars. This is a big Scam!!!!!!

Do this, put the *67 in front of their number, they want know who you are.  Before calling seach the web for Prank Call Soundboards and call and have some fun.  I used the Jerk Boys and George W. Bush, i have to stop calling since it is long distance, but if they work around the clock it is on tonight after 9p.

Most may not be like me, i have no credit so even though they got my info they can't get crap, but call them, block them from seeing your number and have fun. Order Pizza with extra hamburger, do a collections call on them.

I got them, not sure if it is going through, but now i am texting them, not getting that it is not going through, told them i am in india waiting outside, and wouldn't drive home, also text to get out of the building now.

Hey, look at my recent message, call and bug the heck out of them, don't be mad or upset, just bug them and they will say they will not call anymore. Go to FTC's web site and you will see what you can do, i filed complaint and put a fraud alert on my credit report. The number is busy now so I think they will not be using that one anymore, i have been calling back and was going to act like a collector for one of the names provided.

Just tried to call, I was going to ask for some of the names you all listed, and guess they have blocked my number or taken phones off the hook, number is busy now.

Folk, telling you, bug them like they are you, stay calm, let them cuss you, they called me a MFer and i said yes your mom was good. I told them to hold on I had to take a bite of my hamburger, he said they would call me all the time, 7 generations would, I said wouldn't it be one since your all reincarnated. I kept calling and calling and like I said, finally they said they would not call me anymore.  It is scary that they have all your information, but like I said, i have nothing to worry about, i can't get any credit anywhere myself so know if anyone try and uses it they won't get nothing.  

If you want the calls to stop, bug them, they give you the number, you know it is a scam, i searched the web after i talked and hung up on the the first time, so once I saw it was a scam I had some fun.

Same thing, talk to them today and saw on the web it was a scam so I had some fun, I have put an alert on my credit report and filed a complaint with the FTC.  I can't afford anymore bills so credit protection is out of the question, but my credit is not good enough to get anything anyway. If you like to have fun, call them, and keep calling, they will keep hanging up but keep calling them. Finally they said they would return the information to the credit company and would not call me anymroe.  But I'm calling right now and pretend I am a collection agency.  Also, later a friend is coming over and pretend to my lawyer.

I would call the back and have them monitoring your accounts for anything that seems out of the ordinary. Large amounts of money that will try to come through for instance. Even call your credit card companies. I have done all of the above just as a safe guard!!! I have also enrolled myself in a credit protection agency about an hour ago!!!! Hey its WORTH it to me!!!! safer than sorry!!!

I would honestly just ignore them!!! I recieved a message last friday, and I haven't recieved any since then! I hope everybody who recieves these phone calls just remembers that they will try to pry our personnel information out of us, but don't let anything slip!!!!   If they know so much, they can tell us what information we have!!!!!!

I received the same call at work and on my cell phone stating they will come to my job and pull me out kicking and yelling. The guy had a foreign accent and had to much of my information. I need to resolve this matter asap. what should I do .

I received a call form ACS again just a few minutes ago, the person left a voice message on my cell again stating he was going to come to my work or home and take me away.  This is scary knowing this company keeps on harrassing people and nothing is getting done.  The guy on the other end is foreign and the number comes up as all 00000, but he leaves this number 646-783-4922 on my voicemail.  Leaves a message on my work cell and now my own cell phone the mailbox is filled and I now intentions of deleting the messages so he can't leave a voicemail anymore.

I received a call from this phone number today stating it wasa Nicholas Brown from ACS and they are the legal department of the United States and there has been allegations with my social security number. They called on my cell that is on the DO NOT CALL LIST. I do not havce credit cards or applied for anything. I want to know how these people are getting our phone numbers, names and social security info and why the government is allowing people to fraudulently say they work for the legal department of the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. The guy was obvious foreign and his number didn't show up in my caller id, but he has a number listed in the states.

I received a message on my voicemail from acs saying if I ignore this call, Mike Newton and his legal team are coming to my work or my home to take me away.  Mike Newton calls me work cell and my personnel at least once a  day.  I am saving the messages he leaves on my voicemail and I am going to report this acs company.  if they weren't so rude trhe first message I would call them back.  but forget it no way am I calling them back.  This company also uses a number tthatn comes up as all zeros.

SOMETHING HAS TO BE DONE WITH THIS ACS COMPANY. THEY GO WAY OVERBOARD AND THEY SHOULDN'T GET A WAY THIS IS. THEY HARRASSING COMPANY AND THEY ARE SO RUDE.

So, originally I spoke to John Anderson on Wednesday July 14th.  On the 16th he left a message on my cell phone telling me that I was going to jail because it was my payment date and they had not received any of the forms or payment.

This morning, another threatening message saying "If I do not hear from you today, you will be in terrible trouble."

So, on the orignial call, I requested that they send me information regarding the "debt" via mail, he said that wasn't possible because I needed to pay for it that day.  I said I refuse to do business via the phone, he hung up.  

I called the number he told me to call on the voice messag and told the caller to take me off his list, that I believe that this is a scam and that I am reporting them to the authorities.  Which I am doing.

Hopefully, they will stop harassing me.

Very interesting, I recieved a phone while at work today (on my cell) and didn't know the number so did not answer it. Later I tried calling the number back but it kept disconnecting me, so I had decided to listen to my voicemail. I too had a voicemail from a Jack Smith, that was supposidly part of a law firm that were sueing me on very serious aligations! Well, that is about all I could make out of it, I listened to it four times before I called my boyfriend in here to listen to it. The voice kept going in and out like they were in a tunnel, with crazy voices. Anyhow I noticed that there are quite a few of us that are being called. I heard something about a social security number? Not sure if they said they had my social or not? Anyhow Question, Does anyone of you that have recieved these calls happen to be an online college student?

I had a message on my answering machine stating his name was Amon Walton and he was from ACS..Threatening me that I had charges against me and if I didnt call back and take care of them, it would not be a good idea on my part and that Legal action would be taken.  Very heavy Indian Accent and talk so fast couldnt get number until I repeated message 3 times..

I got a call from a simon brown.  he said he was from bcs a legal department and also said if i fail to call him he will contact my employer and someone else that I could not make out
