I, too, had a reply from this James Morgan on Craigslist (Joplin, MO). He said he was out of town on a business trip, he would send a certified check, and his "shipping agent: would come pick up the item (a 350.00 item, to be exact).Sounded fishy; I read these posts and replied that unless he had cash in hand, no deal. Didn't hear back. Pretty sure this is a scam.

The check will bounce.  It may take several weeks.  It may take more than a month.  But the check WILL bounce.  When the check bounces you will owe your bank the full value of the check plus a fee for depositing a bad check.

I had to add on Craigslist and they called me told me they wanted my product and would send me a cashiers check for the product and wanted me to send the rest of the money somewhere else
