I keep on getting a call from this number and they are scam artists who would take phone number and address and probably sell it.

I keep getting a call from this number on my cell phone, I have not picked it up but it is becoming quite annoying is there anyway to block it?

I also received two calls from 646-797-5359. I asked the woman what company it was, and she said something like JC or GE services. She asked for my phone number, and I gave it to her. She "looked" it up and said she could not find it. I asked her what type of company this was, and she answered that she could not provide any info about the company. She said she would have to have my name. I would not give her my name.
This could be a possible scam - for example - the woman calls, and you're curious, so you return the call. She asks for your number and you provide it. Then the woman claims she ran it through her system but cannot find it. Alternatively, she may ask you for your name. If you give it, now she knows your name. She may then ask for your address, etc. It could be a way to lure someone in. If she gets you to trust her enough, she may ask for your bank account info.
I would be very careful. This was a red flag for me and I work in law enforcement.
