Same here, George from the phones voicemail wanted to buy an item from me off of c-list. Wanted t osend a check scam. I had this happen before but the scammer was using stolen checks as it turned out. This time I kept calling and texting this guy - George - telling him to give me his address and I would deliver the item. I guess I called and texted him about 200 times, he must of got annoyed because the number has been disconnected as of 5-28-13. Lets turn the tables on these idiots.

scamers they give you money gram for a higher amount and tell you to cash it and send them the difference, but the money gram or whatever is a fake and by the time it goes thru your bank and bounces you send the sob the difference

I had the same issue. Listed prom dress for 500 on Craigslist offered full price within a couple of hours and wanted to mail a check for me to deposit. I advised I needed a money order and they agreed and then said they would Haber a mover pick up. I googled 646 and found the scam info and told them I was going to report to the authorities and to not contact me again. They said they lived in Austin.

person with this phonenumber is attempting to purchase something from me of craaigslist, states he will send money via moneygram, x amount of dollars for the item and extra added on to it for me to contact someone else to come and pick up the item and have me pay them. he has not told me there name as of yet, but has given me full contact info on the delievery guy, this sounds weird to me
