Texted me to call this # bc my Harris Bank funds are low. So i called just to see what would answer. Some ambiguous recording about a bank account. Funny, they want you to enter your acct info, but there's no "company name" mentioned when you call.

They text both me and my husband telling us that we have a mastercard that is limited with Harris Bank. We do not have a mastercard nor an account with harris bank.. Last night they texted us tell us to call 2137974434. When my husband called it and they asked to activate a card. WHen i called it had been shut down saying it was a phishing scheme. They just texted us from the 646 number with the same messages. 09.04.2010

I got the same message on Sept 4. It was info @tmomail.net// alert: First Central Bank Mastercard is limited call 640-807-3494 for details from 3628. I had just used my debit card at 2 different locations a couple of hours before. I called immediately, they sounded official but the first question was for my bank account number, my card number and my SS#, I gave no infor and hung up. My daughter received a message at the same time but for a different bank. Very frustrating. I will be calling my bank and taking the message to the sherriffs department.
Be alert to these messages and give no info. tell others!

No financial institution that you have an account with or credit card will text you at any time. They do not TEXT their customers for any reason. I laughed when I received this text: Your JP Morgan Mastercard is limited. Call at 646-807-3494 for details.
