Emailed me as we'll... Funny... I wish local authorities would actually do something... Like track back the number, get with the local police whatever country it is raid and put the actual guy in jail with a nice big fine. Then when he needs money I will email him that I'm an American prince that needs to get billions out of my country due to the recent economical trends, then I will offer him 300000 to store my money on his account... Oh yeah I need his social... Or whatever works over there. ;)

Yea he told me to set up a paypal so i did lol but then he sent me the money and the shipping adress was to Nigeria and i heard about this scam on the news a few weeks back so i decided to check the number out and well here i am haha thanks for the $600 lol f#ck you mr. Ill give you an extra $150

Asked about my camera, did a search for his number. Needless to say, nipped that in the bud.

Same guy texted me about Pay Pal.

Asking for my pay pal information to sell my cell phone to him.

Texted me wanting me to send my paypal info. At least I used my google voice number, and can block easily.

Wanted to buy the Jordan YOTS pack from me... conversation through text was just BS, dodged me asking where he wanted me to ship, just told me to send a Paypal invoice...scammer avoid this bum

Tried to scam me on 2 pairs a women's Toms shoes. Wanted  me to send them to their son in Nigeria....reported it to Paypal (Spoof@paypal.com) and Craigslist! Thanks for looking out for others, guys!

I got call from this number and it was NOTHING like all other calls listed that said it was about Craigslist...the call I got was just like ALL other calls Ive been getting saying they are calling from lottery or sweepstakes saying i won atleast million dollars and in order to have what i won delivered to me i have to pay atleast $250 ?? SCAM !!! Whats creepy is my number is unlisted and I NEVER post it online and how did this caller connect with all other callers telling me same thing i won lottery and sweepstakes...he didnt mention anything about Craigslist ....caller id only gives phone number ...ive tried to block other numbers and they just call using new number...along with this number I got atleast 20 other numbers most of which start with 876 from Jamaica ...now adays things are so twisted and screwed up instead of these people getting introuble for scamming people I will be one that gets in trouble for reporting that I get atleast 6 calls day from jamaica and 2 or more from numbers like this from people trying to scam me

Calling us several times wanting us to get some "BlueWire" card from Wal-Mart and we will get $25,000 for free.   (like that's not a red flag??)  Looks like they go from cameras to pay-pal and now WalMart.  (Oh, and just for entertainment, we called Wal-Mart about this "bluecard" and it costs nearly $400).  
Oh and their number showed on our phone as a "blocked call" - found it by it being posted on our phone account through checking it on-line.

Yep same here trying to sell a legit item on cl and the scammers are hopping on it. So sad, the ad specifically says cash sale in person no shipping duhhhhh

I made the mistake of actually texting this person after he/she e-mailed me about a Wii-U I was selling. Person wanted me to send them my PayPal information so we could make the transaction through there. I immediately Google-searched the phone number and here I am. I proceeded to tell the person it was cash only and I haven't gotten a response back yet.

Keep an eye out for e-mail address berryjohn76@yahoo.com. Just Google-search that e-mail address if you want some laughs.

they tried to make me send my telephoto lens to Nigeria! this is just unbelievable! they made me think that they sent  money to my pay pal acc. and I really got a message from pay pal, but when I checked the acc. there was no money......guys does anyone know how they doing this??? because I start thinking that pay pal is not that safe....

I've got this idiot hooked right now. He wants me to set up a pay pal account to buy mr Nikon D2H. I love f****ng with these idiots, I hane $27,000 in rubber checks that have been sent to me to pay for the camera and send the rest to the "shipper" who is supposed to come pick it up. I love ignori.g for a while, tben telling them they've been robbed. Thanx for the money, or I sent a frantic message to one telling him my roommate cashed the check with a street thug loan shark and they came and beat him up and said they will keep coming back and beating him up until he pays them back. Told another one I got arrested because tbe check bounced and I'm on probation and my friends are going to the address he provided to "talk" to him...lol. Good clean fun...lol.

the scammer keeps targeting craigslist ads. They always refer to the item that you're selling as "interested in your item", without saying which item it is. So when you get a message like that click on SPAM right away and don't waste your time. Also they ask you to text the scammers, so they get your number too. Don't text , don't answer, mark as spam and report them to a site like this one, so others will know.

They communicated with me via texting, and told me to dial 02 when they called me. It went to the setup of a google voice number, and they got into my google account. Do not put in any numbers if they call you from another number.

I knew it was scam just by the first email that was sent. She offered me $50 more than the asking price. I didn't entertain it. This is why I don't put my number on Craigslist anymore.

Tried to scam me with buying a sonyps3 from Craigs List.

yeah guy told me to send him my comp and im from detroit why in the hell would someone buy somthing off craigslist from detroit if your in new york  that was my first sign  second it wanted me to set up a pay pal
