Received a call from a John Marcus of Finallianz saying that they wish to buy shares of mine in Fortune Oil even though I sold them 10yrs ago. They say they have verified that I'm still a shareholder and that if I pay a £5,000 performance bond to indicate my commitment to sell, they will buy my whole holding off me for a client who wants to take over the company. Obviously a scam by not very convincing scallywags. The offer price was even far lower than the current market price. Caller rang offering to buy low priced shares, as part of hostile take over bid.  Refused to allow any legal advice, and wanted £5000 for an insurance policy to cover transaction.

That is an extract from their b*llsh*t website. They are a dodgy front for an identity theft scam.

If they are so well known for their sterling work why is the only result for a search on FinAllianz their own website?

Caller apparently from an American company, FinAllianz, wanting to buy worthless shares. Company website links to this number and was registered in the Phillipines!! Scan methinks!
