im only 18... They have been calling me for the passed few months. I dont answer unknown calls and they always make it unknown... saying i have commited fraud and going to prisn... wtf is this thing email me at haslam3113@hotmail.com if you know thanks.

These people are frauds. They have heavy accents yet use american names. They are trying to scam people out of money. I have dealt with them before and do not believe what they say. Noone can sue you, come arrest you or any of those sorts with proper written warning. They are just trying to scare you. If you keep ignoring them or giving them the run around they will get mad and start cussing and getting real rude! They give you a call back number of 646 810 8638(well this is the latest one) but the number on my caller id is +052480189 which isnt even a U.S. number!

This number is associated with phone number 646-810-8638 they have called me from this number as well. Today is the first time I've gotten a call from the 225-663-5575 number. I'm curious as to this 663# and how it is associated with the 646-810-8638 people/scammers. They've been calling me telling me I'm going to be arrested over a $200 supposed bill that I owe a payday loan company that I have NO knowledge of. I am very fed up with these people and I am going to report them to my local sheriff's dept as harrassment.<not sure of the spelling. Can anyone tell me who else I can contact to report these scammers and get them to quit calling me? Please help!! They're also calling me at work and it's very embarrassing.

They keep calling my office being very threatening.  Indian accent stating his name is Bruce Waine.

They called my cell today and did not leave a message.

Received a call at work , stated that i owed $ 440.44 on a advance payday loan plus account and he was from a law office and wanted my lawyers information, when i asked what he was talking about he said, you have not been informed that you are being sued for this account. He had the last for digits of my SS # my birthdate my bank account number and place of employment. when i asked when this supposed deposit took place he did not have that info in his file, then he came up with a month and year but no actual date. i asked for a phone number for the payday loan he gave me that number 951-552-7116 then i asked for his number which was 951-708-1967. the first guy was had a indian accent amd his name was David Walker, when i called the other number i got another guy with a n indian accent whose name was David Waller and he then transfered me to his supervisor which was anothe indian accent guy and his name was Derek Anderson, i asked him if he could tell me if i had a loan with his business , he asked for my SS # i asked for his address and head quarters location because i have not had any loans with this company and he said, why are you calling me then stupid. I looked up the numbers and they are coming from California.

this +6468108638 # called me today to asking for money that they say I owe from a pay day loan company, and said if I didnt pay them the 686.00 that some one from the California Police dept will be at my house tomorrow to pick me up. What an idiot!!!!!!   California is like a 3 day drive from my house. I wish these teriost would leave me alone. :)

yes i recieved a call from a male who clamied that i had a lawsuit against me for a payday loan and that i owed them 7,000 dollars they had my SS and my address and all my personal information...beware of these scam artists...lucky was i though im a cj student and know my laws i knew there was something fishy about this...

I answered the phone and told them i work at the police department and that i was about to file a report against them and they stopped calling me

I am going through the same thing you are.  I posted some info on this page earlier so you can read what I wrote there b/c it's kind of alot and don't have time to type it all over again. =)  These ppl told me they were going to get me arrested, at my job, tomorrow morning @ 11am!  Can you believe that?!  I hate these scam people!

They are aggravating me SOOOOO much.  Calling my work number.  As I read all these comments I am feeling better b/c now I know for SURE it's a scam b/c they're telling me I got a loan from a company I've NEVER heard from and they said if I don't pay I will be arrested tomorrow, from my job, at 11:00am!  They tell me they are a law firm and they don't answer any of my questions and won't provide ANY paperwork proving their "supposed" case against me.  I hate these ppl for what their doing.  And I hate them having ALL of my personal information!  Does anyone know how to file a report against them?  My local sheriff's office?

I received 3 calls from this number today April 9 2010  Jack Wilson telling me not that this is a time sensitive message and do don't ignore it. He has very thick accent. He said that he is going to press charges against me for fraud. I do not know he this person is.

My co-worker is receiving calls from 646-810-8638 this has been an ongoing issue for him at his home number and now it has followed him to work.  The person calls with a heavy Indian accent, which we hear a lot normally in the work we do so I stay on the phone trying to take a message but the person gives me a ridiculously Irish name today it was "Patrick Watson".  My Co-worker says he has been trying to get these people off his back for several years.

Got a call from adam white for 7 times already, his from national affidavit processing dept. that a have a lawsuit from social security and my street address is on state investigation.

These people are not real collectors. After doing extensive research on them I have found 3 things:

1. These people buy contracts from small companies stating that they will use the information to collect debts, should the need arise. When in acuality they use your information to stage bogus debts and false claims that never get reported to the real company.

2. These people are smart in the planning stage, but dumb in execution. They will research real collections firms, real businesses and names so when you do decide to do research you will see real infomation. BUT DON"T BE FOOLED. Press the issue with these companies and you will find that all their data if false...

3. They break easy under pressure. The best way to see if they are being honest and legit is to ask questions. Ask about the company; history, address, documentation, people that work there, etc. Usually they will get upset and hang up on you (which is not how a real company operates). Also try sitting on the phone for a few seconds after they finish talking. You might here voices coaching thesee people or they may get aggitated and raise their voice/swear. Again, not professional of a real company.

Use this information to help you in these situations. And you do happen to get a call from these people, make sure you report it to your local athorities along with the national fraud department and the IC3 website.

Our business gets calls from this foreign guy daily for one of our employees. Each time he has a different American sounding name-Jake Woods, Christopher King etc...  Sometimes he says he's from US Legal Investigation, other times he just says it's urgent he speak with the employee.  Any ideas on how to get rid of this caller for good??

This is harrassment and I am going to report this number to the FTC, and to the FBI today as well as to do not call list.  I encourage everyone to do that immediately!

i got a call from 646-810-8638. they called in with a blocked number told me i took a loan out with cash advance and never paid. i have no credit even started yet i cant get a loan!! they told me contact my lawyer and call them at that number i said no. hung up. they called back told me if i hung up again they to would sue me. i said thats fine and i hung up again. they called back and i told them here shortly they would recieve a call from my local sheriffs dept. he said dont F*CK with me. and he started reading my rights to a lawyer i said bye he said do not interrupt me i will give u a chance to speak i said excuse u but this is my phone i can speak when i want to now bye!! they called 3 more times after and i didnt answer. they said i owed cash advance mutual.

I just got a phone call from this number also, saying I took out a 595.00 payday loan with cash advance mutual. I have not done so and will never do so. Don't be reeled in by these fake people. They just want to scare you into paying money.

I'm going on 5 calls now in less than an hour.

I took have received a call from "Jake".  Interesting name for someone who has a very STRONG Indian Accent.  I googled the number and came up with warnings.  I have no intention of calling back.  I have a very clean record and although I don't pay my bill 100% on time ALL the time, I'm not a criminal.  My suggestion to anyone else receiving these calls - ignore them.  If they persist, file a report.

Yes they are telling me they are filling a lawsuit against me as well as SS#. They have call my numbers 3 times today. They say they are from the United State Legal Department. I do not think so.  I google the number and it is some kind of collections.

Over 2 days received 3 calls from heavily accented (indian) males with american names.  The calls were very threatening and trying to collect money.  The callers were very rude and hung up on us twice.  Everything I've read makes believe this is a scam.  They said they're company name was National Affadavit Processing Department.
