THESE PEOEPLE KEEP CALLIN MY JOB FROM THIS NUMBER AND IT IS GETTING SICKING SAYING I OWE THEM MONEY AND THEY WILL SEND PAPERS TO MY JOB AND DIFFERANT THINGS THEY CALL MY JOB 5OR 6 TIMES A DAY AND I AM TIRED OF THESE SCAMMERS THEY SOUND LIKE THEY ARE FROM INDIA OR SOMETHING YOU CANT BARELY UNDERSTAN WHAT THEY ARE SAYING SOMEBODY AHS TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS SOON

Seems like everybody's getting this phone number too.  I got a web form inquiry for real estate needs but then I got a call center guy who wouldn't transfer me to the guy that called.  They are using several numbers one is a 773 # which is local for me.  they are rude and apparently scamming for information on the people they contact saying it's an atty and you owe bad debts they are trying to collect on???  but they can't tell you anything so since there is nothing on this number but your inquiry.  I'll add my 2 cents.  the web form inquiry I rec'd is the same format as the last one that was from a different number ergo they are from the same people.  Put them on "do not answer" in your contacts and forget about them. this is the other number 773-340-6852.  and they also have a 501.

Just got call from Ray McKenzie and he ask for me or my son Chris and said we had to be in court Friday.  He said there is a lawsuit against us and when I asked more and advised him he was calling from NY and not Calif. he hung up.

Absolutely a scam....these people are ridiculous. I get a call everyday and the calls are always very threatening. I went through this about two years ago as well. I'm not even sure how they got my info, but they did. I had the state police at my house...the officer even got on the phone with the guy...nothing ever happened. No police came to get me....no warrants for my arrest. The officer contacted the FBI for me also, which I'm not sure really even went anywhere...but at least they were notified. Now, of course they idiots are starting all over again. I haven't spoken to them, nor do I plan to but they say they are coming for me. When I went through this before they even threatened my safety saying that they would be at my house and I would be sorry. Again, nothing happened. So, if Michael Wright (the only middle eastern person named Michael...EVER, ha,ha) would like to get me, I welcome him.

These folks are using an VoIP service out of New York by the name of CallCentric.  They also appear to be a scam.  They have a BBB rating of "F" with several complaints.  An outfit by the name of Platinum Online Group claiming to be out of Sherman Oaks CA also appears to be involvedl

The Platinum people also refuse to take incoming phone calls.

This all seems to stem from a internet PayDay loan company that my ex-wife used.  I suspect they are either part of the scam or sold the information to the scammers.  The connection between my ex - and our daughter and me could only have been made through this PayDay group.  The Platinum group took an unauthoriized $99 draft from my ex's account - that is now being pursued as check fraud by her bank.  

I have filed FTC and BBB complaints in both Ca and NY.

From the background sound and the accents this is being run out of a 'boiler room' in India.  I suspect that several of the above posts are from the same group trying to scare the folks called by saying that they cleared their debt before the cops came.

They also used the name of an LA Law firm - David Harrison - he too has been notified of the scam.

They are calling saying I owe money and they can't give me any information until I pay them, I have asked for company information and there information but hey are refusing to give it to me. I saved the voicemails and contacted my local police office. This is crazy they should not be allowed to do this to people

A woman with a heavy foreign accent called me from that number.  Said they had my name as a reference for my brother, in a fraud case.  Wanted me to call him, and have him call that number, to avoid legal problems.  Sounds like a scam to me.

Called me (didnt leave name or provide on call back) and left a voicemail regarding a legal issue. I called back the number and told the guy that answered that I reported the call to the police and to go ahead and do whatever he was going to do... He replied with "I'm going to f&%k your mom"... No legitimate company would respond with that. Dont fall for any of their BS.

They are calling saying they are "The Law Offices of David Harrison" and that there is a lawsuit for a payday loan...they have all my personal information and when i tell them i never had a payday loan the gentleman tells me to go to hell and hangs up the phone, i called back and when i asked for there location they said they are in California, Texas & New York and when i told this gentleman what happened he as well hung up on me. I dont know whats going on but it is crazy!!

Heavy accent said her name was Liz smith and she was laughing at the end of the message.WHATEVER!

File complaints with your local police department, FBI, Consumer Complaint this is a collection scam.  It is against the law to threaten you with jail.

Ask them to speak with someone is speaks clear english, also ask them for there company Federal ID #, they will hang up on you.

This is a collection scam turn these criminals into IC3, Better Business Bureau and Consumer Complaint & Protection Division.  If they were a legal collection agency they would understand the FDCPA rules and regulations, STATING YOU HAVE TO PROVIDE WRITTEN DOCUMENTATION WHEN REQUESTED!!  They have to show proof of the debt, don't send these foreign scum bags any money!!!

They can not send a police officer to your home.  If they say they can tell them then you will call a policer officer to your house to arrest that officer.  I get these calls every two months different name different number.

They called my work three times I asked them to not call my work number they called back.  I am going to report this number to the Federal tade commision.
