We received a text message from this number regarding an ad we had posted on Kijiji. After discussing  few details we agreed to a price and exchanged emails on a PayPal account. We received that PayPal notification but it was a fake. We did not send the item.

We just did the same thing did anything happen because you gave him the email address?

I felt in this trap from this number..It was a paypal fraudulent transaction through paypal site Even I ship the product and I am still trying to stop it  People should advise to FBI as I thinks is a netwoking with mafia. Somebody should check the address in Indiana

The guy text me too.  Offering 60 more than I listed my item for plus 50 for shipping to his wife in  Indiana. At first I wasn't thinking and gave him my email for "paypal" got 2 bs emails stated the funds were on hold til I send tracking number. I told him no and haven't heard back

Same for me!  As soon as I put an item for sale over $800 on kijiji, I get a scam text in the middle of the night from this number.  Don't even answer it!
