Same thing trying to sell my Galaxy S4 within the first 2 hours of posting the ad, I have had someone text me from California saying to send it to Africa and then this guy telling me to send it to New Brunswick...good thing I only sell locally!

this person needs to be taken down, and taken to jail for what he/she is doing.

this actually just happened to me the other day for my iphone4, how he wanted me to send it to his "son" in New Brunswick...doubling the price, to cover the shipping cost... called up Canada post, and they are going to send it back to me.  btw, this person does live in New York , I believe, I had searched up the area code online this morning , & it came up as New York.. also, I took this to the police yesterday, to file for a report, im going to show them this website, that way they know that other people have had the same problem I just had the other day. it's really quite annoying, when you go out of youre way to send something, & this happens..note to self, when I get my phone back to sell, im selling local only & cash only.

i also got the message from same person and number , he wants my iphone and offering me more money than i asked , then he told me to ship it to sum where and he said he is very sick in hospital so please help me, from that i figured it out that it is kind of scam ,,BEWARE ..dere should be sum thing to report dese kind of scams

He is trying to get a ring from me as well. Same thing...

a***ole just offered me a lot more than what i wanted for my ring so i would ship it to his son in school in nigeria.  luckily i looked this up and found out it was a scam.

Just had this guy texting for my DSLR camera (I am in Toronto, Canada). At first I was very skeptical, as he claimed it's for his son and it's a gift and then he sent me an e-transfer mail nearly doubling the price. Luckily, I called the customer service to be sure and figured out his scamming skills. Then I checked in here and voila all my story checks out. And I swear if this number is from new york, I am gonna personally drive just to bang his head in to wall!!!!  But yea thank you guys a lot for submitting your incidents.

I got a text from this person about a MacBook I was selling. I said I only sell locally he/she said I want to send it too some one in Africa. I found this page when I searched the number. I then told them to read the add I don't ship they said its Paypal its safe. They said I hope you won't scam me and not send it so my husband called then a scammer and said to leave us alone. They said they are christans and sent a bible verse. My husband had them call and he called them scamers again so the guy got mad. It makes me so mad that they try and scam people. But watch out for people saying ship to Africa.

First words he said were, "Hey buddy did you still have this item for sale?Sprint iPhone 5 (Black) - $460"

He wanted me to ship my iPhone to South Africa for his son who goes to "BRITISH HIGH school" which doesn't even exist on the map!!! He offered me more cash than was listed on my Craigslist Post and insisted on paying for shipping costs.

He wasted a bit of my time but he never got anything from me because I looked up his cell # and noticed that it was all a scam. Don't let him/ her fool you...

Just got a text from this number asking about iphones I have for sale. I replyed that I would only sell locally & they insisted on me shipping the phone to a son away @ school.

this person has no life.  mmust be ry bored.  I've tracked his'her actions back to 2011.

This person is a scam artist trying to scam alot of people out of money  dont trust this person  He pretending to send me money for a ring thru email interac and gives you a phoney address you then send your item and never hear from them again! dont let him screw you  Luckily i figured it out before the post office sent my item and was able to get it back
