guy with indian accent threatening with legalcriminal action. kept calling until he was told an attorney would be contacting him. threatened if i didnt comply and give him personal information-he would press criminal charges against me.
he said he was from united states legal department. i googled it-no such thing.

These guys call me as much as 19 times per day! They also change the phone # they call from every 3 days or so, different states, different names.  Don't be fooled by them!  It's annoying, but just ignore the calls.  If you don't know the number, don't answer.  If they really need you for anything, they will leave a message.

I have been receiving these threatening calls from people with strong indian accents that sound very similar to the ones listed here on this website. I am concerned because they have my personal information. They also said they were from the united states legal department and then from the suspects department. These places do not exist. Also I spoke to two different people who when I asked where they were at, they told me Jacksonville FL and Washington DC respectively. Is it possible for two people in the same office building to be in two different cities at once. Hmmm don't think so!

I had the same problem. They stated one of my friends used my name to commit fraudulent activities and unless I contacted them they would also bring criminal activities against me also. I called him and he stated that I opened a bogus e-mail account and borrowed money from something called BMG in 2006. I asked where it was sent to and he told me I should know. I advised well I don't because I did not borrow anything. He stated it was wired to Bank of America. I told him that I was reporting it as Identity theft because I did not own a Computer in the yr of 2006 to even apply for a loan of any sort. He gave me an account number that it was sent to. I called Bank of America and explained the situation to them and gave them the account number and then the date the guy said it was transferred to their bank. I asked if she could help me, she then stated that I would have to call the BMG company due to the fact that if their was an account they could not give me any information because it was not under my name. Go figure here this guy is telling me to file an IT for fraud at this bank and they hang up one me and refer me back to him.

I called them back with an Arnold Schwartzennager soundboard.   It was hilarious.   They guy didn't know what to say.   Then he said he was recording it.
 Then he called back, and I still had the soundboards up.    I hit him with the Jack Black.    It was so funny.    He got irritated and said, "YOU GET LOST".        I bet they won't call me again, but I hope they do.    Don't pay any attention to these crooks.

He keeps calling me at work! My idenity has already been stolen and I am scared that I will get in trouble if he keeps calling (and i work for the police!!)  I don't believe any of his threats, I want him to stop calling me.

I received a call form this number, saying I owe mone on an old bank account, which I do, but the method of payment they told me to submit by sounded very suspicious. They had thick accents middle eastern/indian accents, saying they were talking to attournies whilst talking to me, threatening criminal allegations and possible jail time. If it is indeed a legitimate company, i'll handle the debt. But it seems really fishy. I think some old mail of mine may have been apprehended and is being used against me. They want money by a Western Union or Moneygram, made out to a James Austin in Wichita Falls Kansas. I don't like this and am freaked out as to whether to take it seriously or not. They have my social security number. I contacted my local police dept. to find out more information. Please give me advice!

I received a message at my command, yes a military command, and it was a pretty harrassing message left on the answering machine.  First, he pissed of the wrong Sergeant with that message, then when I heard it, wow!  Yes, I am a U.S. Marine proudly serving this country and yet, my fellow citizens are being treated and threatened like this over a bunch of BS!  I thought I did enough a** kicking the first time I was over there, but I'm only 23, I can go right back and will be in the next 5-7 months!  If any of you have any requests, just let me know!  This guy messed with the wrong guy, I mean the WRONG US MARINE!  I'm going to find this "Sean Baker" and this "Mike Foster" and when I do, I'm going to report them to my aunt, who works for the FBI!

Received a call Today, same company as last except they have added Eagel Eye Associates and BMG. The rep. with a India accent and heavy dialect, said his If I didn't comply he would start downloading to state file. I asked for an address he wouldn't give me one. Then I asked how was I to make payment If I had no address to send it to? He sent me to his senior superviser, who answered Hello this is Officer..John Black again I asked for an address. He asked how I was to pay, either Money Gram or Western Union, I said I haven't made my mind yet. He then gave me directions how to fill out the form, the rec'ver name Kenneth White address witchital falls TX, no zip, I asked for the zip he said not to worry about it. He then concluded with a direction for the 10 digit code you get when filling out the form- to call him back with the code and leave it on the voice mail. I contacted My local Police Dept.

call my number and he used F U WORD AFTER I TOLD HIM THAT HE IS BEEN REPORTED TO POLICE AND I TRACE THE NUMBER IS NOT A BUSINESS NO THAT IF YOU OWE A DEBT IS A CIVIL MATTER NOT A CRIMINAL MATTER AND NO LAW INFORCEMENT COLLECT ANY MONEY FOR ANYTHING AT ALL. THEN HE START TO CURSE. FBI SHOULD TAKE CARE OF THESE PEOPLE.

I have recevied multiple calls form this same man at that number (his call also show as unkown and dometimes from a 312 area code). I contacted the FTC and was told it was an attempt at idenity theft and that I should put fraud alerts out on my credit file. The problem is I am still getting his call and am not sure how to stop them.

I have received 3 calls from them in the last 72 hours. He has a heavy Indian accent and is very threatening. He says he is recording the call and gets worse when you ask for something in writing. Original number was 646-862-5114.
Now they show up as unknown caller. I hang up as soon as he asks for me.
Avoid him when possible. Be careful out there.

I received a call like this from a different number last week with the same senerio. You should report these calls to the FTC, the FBI as well as your state and local athorities. Find out the number to your local FBI office and give this to them as your attorney's contact number. Not sure if they will call, but it is worth a shot. The more that we report them, the better chance of catching who is responsible. Do not give them any personal information! These people can do nothing to you unless you give them information and then they will use it to wipe you out!!!

I also get calls everyday from this number. I don't know if the guy is Indian or Arabian...who cares. They have all my information and claims I owe to an internet payday advance. I try to explain I have never applied for a payday advance but they don't hear anything I tell them. All they say is "you must pay this." And they say this with suck a heavy accent I can't help but laugh. Anywho...it doesn't matter how many times we complain about these people because they work from their home. They use prepaid phone cards which is how they have the ability to call from multiple phone numbers. Slick little sons of B!#*&@#. All I tell them is to send me something in writing showing proof to validate this debt and from which company blah blah blah but they always say that is against the law and they cannot do that. What retards. They must not teach them in India or Afghanistan or where ever that if they come to AMERICA and try to collect on debt they must provide documentation validating it. That way we can have the right to dispute the debt if we are not in fault. Anyways...I say just let them play their games. They don't report anything to the credit bureau's. I've checked my credit report numerous times. (I work for a collections company) Not only is the debt they are talking about not on my report but neither is their attempts to collect.

Hello all, I agree! I have received the same phone call from a man with a heavy accent as well. Saying that I had a payday loan from the internet that I failed to pay and that they are going to file a claim and and sue me for the funds as well as jail time. He had the last four digits of my ssn, as well as my old checking account number. He asked me to send $945 to a Kenneth White in witcitaw falls, tx... He calls from this phone number.646-862-5114. He wants me to western union or money gram the money. Trust if it was a legitimate company we will receive certified information through the mail or either be notified by a company with honest contact information and payment options.

There is a guy calling my cell phone saying that I owe money and I have no idea what he's talking about.  I have called the BBB and local law enforcement and this is a scam. The guy has even starting to call my mother!

Calling from yet another number.  Total scam.  Do not give your information.  Middle Eastern Accent wanting money that you don't owe.
