This are green card Lottery Fraudsters they ask called me in Germany and wanted me to give them my Credit Card details, they wanted 690Euros for the application earlier on i had paid 39 Euros and when i told the Guy on the Phone that i was going to confirm with USA Embassy in Berlin first before i could pay the money he was very rude and he told me he didn't my money he has an American Express Card he didn't mine, and when i insisted to call the Embassy first he hanged up the Phone, i called my Credit Card company immediatelly to stop any further transaction....BAD PEOPLE

They called me 2 times and when i finally answered i cursed him out. i told him this isnt how we conduct business in the united states and i am going to report this to the fbi and my local police department. he said that if i do that the sheriff will serve me and i will be arrested on the spot. when the "supervisor"got on the line he told me that i must listen uninterrupted on a recorded line. i told them to stop calling me and if they call here again its going to cause a problem because the police will investigate.   i have had enough of people calling and telling me that there is a lawsuit against my social security #. we dont even speak like that over here.  They need to start setting up measures against these people and protect the American people here. some people get scared and fall for this bs

one ring, hung up - they are mining for active cell phone numbers to sell to telemarketers. all they need is for it to ring once. If you got this call, expect to start receiving telemarketer calls on your cell phone soon because this caller is going to sell your number.

same deal.  call came in at 11:43 am EST.  rung once & hung up.

got the call today and it rang once and hung up. i called it back and it was a recording. sounded like it was saying hey cosmo or hey cosmel. it asked if i wanted to hear a message from it or sign up to solo elite. i pressed 3 and it said it will block my number. i doubt it will block my number but this ticks me off.

same thing, 1 ring, hangup.  :-(

u can list ur cell number on the donotcall.gov registry. if they continue to harass, you can then file a complaint.

Got a call from 646 873-6493 at 1:21pm EST on 02/19/10 ... it rang once, then nothing.

Received a call, just one ring, then hangup at 6:38PM.

No message but I called back and it's a ringtone company

Called my cell ... Caller ID "unavailable"...no message left. CALL ORIGINATED IN NEWYORK...NO DOUBT SOME TYPE OF SPAM...

Call came in around 10:20 Central Standard Time.  Rang once and then they hung up. I do not know anyone in New York.  Will keep tract of this number.

how do you stop these calls

Just 1 call, no answer, no messge.  When I checked from here, got all the same answers.  I did not return the call.
