These people need to stop calling & harassing folks. There could be dire consequences.

I just got a call and ignored it.  I called the number back and it says "you have reached a non-working number. This number has been used illegally by a solicitation service in california and has been reported to authorities.  A gold star for the good guys.

Scam artist that call always around the time I get paid. I have reported it to Houston Police Department for identity theft. They have called from several different numbers as well. Its hilarious because they claim to have completely Americans names but have a Pakistani accent! They insisted to the officer filing the report that i had to be in court in New York but I never received a summons to appear in court. I was told not to answer my phone and document the calls. They were even crazy enough to leave a message on my voice mail making threats that if I didn't respond that "it would be bad for me"! On one occasion when I returned their call before I notified the authorities, the told me if I didn't cooperate then my mother would receive a bullet in her(explicit word)! that was all I needed to file a report.

I called the number back and got a recording saying "you have reached a non working number. This number is being used illegally by a solicitation service in California and has been reported to the authorities."

My advice is to call your phone provider and block the number.

I get these calls day after day minute after minute, restrected my calls only to contacts i shouldn't have to do this is this, is this not the USA our phones should be clear of this bull!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! right now i get 8 other phone calls all scams this needs to stop can anyone help us out there???

The FBI has their information. I made sure our sheriff got it to them. They also call using the phone number (646) 727-7049.

I have been geting calls from this number for almost 3 weeks now saying I owe them money or thare gona sue. I told them sue me ill bring my account info showing no money from them and counter sue for 5000 for harrasment and falsifying a statement to court.  One guy said his name was mark williams and that he was from chicago but the dum s... couldnt even hardly speak english he was middeleastern.  So i told him sue me stop calling and go loosen his towl and he said he was gona sue and i would have papers in the am and guess what no pappers yet.  how stupid do they think we are. the number they are using is one of many 1646 888 8000

I actually called the number back and the automated system states the number is a non working number and has been used for solicitation purposes illegally in CA and has been reported to the authorities.

I would like to know how these people are getting the most used phone number that I do business on, my cell number.  I hate to change it because all of my business contacts have this number, but how do you control the calls.

Change ur phone #...that is the only way that I got them to stop!!!  And then apply for nothing...NOTHING on line again!!!

I just rcvd a call from the phone # too. I tried contact back and it says that this is being investigated by the auth . They call ever so often and state there is a warrant, crim charges and so on. I just ignore. THIS IS A SCAM!!!!!!

Same thing for me. I knew it was a scam - you can tell because of the way the phone sounds - clicking and going in and out. I hope they catch these losers, but my guess is they are out of the country.

I gave them heck on the phone and told them to go ahead and send the paperwork (criminal) - and the amount was $350 - sound familiar? Anyway I told them my attorney would love it!

this person calling from this number said he was a detective with a warrent for my wife, I stated come and get her we will be home all day. then I explained that the police are not going to call if they have a warrent for someone's arrest, this guy then became rude and told me to go f*** myself and s*** his*****. I called the number back before it was cut off and told him what I thought of him, he didn't like it but I say f***'em.

I read your note.  You had a good piece in there that is suggesting for me to do the same. I've been getting these same type of phone calls, for the last weeks, almost every day straight, of every week.

These same guys have called my phone and had ripped me off for 766.00.  They are really dumb.  The same guy tried again and it rreally had not dawned on me until he called me July 22nd. he proceed to say they US loan compnay had lent me some money and they had tried to debit the money out and it was not there. I told them i was not aware of any nonpayment that i owned for any loan/payday loan.We hung up and i called my bank and had them traced back. the bank showed everything to be fine.  This gentleman called back and said i could settle this out of  court or pay a certain amount of money.They charged my cc card. My bank provided me with a number to call. After calling the number I spoke to a mna and i said that someone had committed fraud on my credit card and i wanted the number to speak to them>>>>>>>He said he could call the CLIENT and let them know that i wanted my money back on my credit card. With in 2-3 days I had the credit  for the 766.00 back on my credit card.  I had calle and posed as an attorney and I suggested that it would be a good idea to put all monies back on the card. I put enough scare in them to make them do the right thing. Couple of names to remember is Mike Williams and Sam.

It's a loan scam company based out of california and is being investigated by the FBI as long as u don't provide any info u should be safe..

I received a call from these guys, probably for the 10th time on the same day. I was really anoyed and asked him to remove my number from the system and stop calling me. This guy immdiately became rude and started yelling at me. He also threatened me that he has my SSN# and all the inforamtion about me and he is capable of leaking these info on the public sites.

This is getting out of control. In US is there any system that would protect us from these guys.

I RECEIVED CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER ALSO. THEY SAID THEY ARE A CYBER CRIME UNIT LAWYER TRYING TO GET MONEY OUT OF ME FOR SOME LOANS I TOOK OUT AND NEVER PAID BACK. LIES. ITS A SCAM AND YOU NEVER GET TO SPEAK TO SOMEONE WITHOUT A VERY STRONG INDIAN ACCENT.
THEY HAVE NAMES LIKE GARY, DAVE, JENNY AND STEPHANIE, BUT WONT GIVE ADDRESS OR COMPANY WHO FILED COMPLAINT.
SCAM..JUST DONT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION.

Damn foreigners!!!! Said that they deposited a loan into my bank account and have not paid them back yet....told me that they were suing me. I asked for their info so I could have my attorney contact them. Couldnt give me any info!!!! Dumb a***s!!!!

you can google yourname and get basics on yourself and then for 4.95  anyone can get anything.

So i have been getting the same crazy phone calls as well. They called me a week ago and told me that I was being sued by some company (cant remember the name) and that i was going to be picked up by the police at my residence if i didnt pay them money. needless to say i called my dad and told him the situation (not gonna lie i was crying) and he told me about the scams that have been going around for years. I ignored their calls for a few days, finally answered and told them that I have a lawyer, i know they are bogus and to leave me alone. SO....... yesterday i got a call from this number and it was the same guy! this time i told him that i reported him and the number to the department of consumer services and he began cussing me out.... a lot.... calling me a b****, m****r f****r, s**t and every other nasty word under the sun. I laughed at him, set the phone to speaker, pushed mute, and i laughed! i felt like i was being punk'd! HAHAHAHA! the funniest thing to me is that the first call seemed semi-official... he said he was from a law office ect. but now its so obviously a bs company... what law office blocks their number AND calls people just to cuss them out? i mean im sure the later happens but HONESTLY! lol
