Called my regular phone on 8/7/07 around 3pm. Had a thick eastern Indian accent. Asked me if I'm still with Bell Canada. I said no ... he asked again twice, and I said no. He said hello again and the hung up several seconds later.

A lot of people were in the background. Sounded like it came from a crowded area, mall or airport ... maybe from a pay phone.

have received several calls from this number.  generally, i pick up and it just hangs up.  must be marketing something??

They keep calling looking for a Frederick Zelanka.  They are very aggressive and call several times a week.

What is this?  I just got this call and no one was on the other line.  Is there someone we can contact to stop these kinds of calls.

this number calls me multiple times a day for the past week, but i never pick up cuz i'm in exams and i dont even recognize the area code and they never leave a message.

Received a call today, asking if I was a Bell Canada or Rogers customer.  Reported this immediately to Bell Canada customer service, who has guaranteed me they will look into this matter further.  Note to Canadians: Even if you are on a DNC list, it does not matter, Americans have no need, just as Canadians to follow another countries DNC listings.

They've called me--on my cell-- 3 times in the last 2 days.  Asking me if I want a deal on Dishnetwork (which I already have).  I asked them to remove me, so now when they call, I try and have some fun with them

Called my cell phone twice 7/23/07 8:43 a.m. and again at 9:17 a.m. Sounds like a cell phone, answer said "Hello?" then left the phone on for several seconds before hanging up (resulting in a voicemail).

WPI Group is a telecommunications form that sells its numbers to call centers, who are the actual culprits behinds these pain in the a%% calls.  But its name often appears on the Caller ID.

I figure that Bell Canada must have a call centre in India or something, because every time I call to change my ExpressVu programming, there is always a guy on the other end that can barely speak english and is quite rude and doesn't seem to know proper Canadian manners and customs.

I have been receiving calls from this # for almost three years. I have told them to stop calling me,that I am not interested in their services, and they call the next day. I have asked for their supervisor, I have threatened to sue them and yet they continue to call me on my cell phone!!! I have yelled, screamed and cussed them. I have had them call me back after I hung up on them.

It calls often. Caller ID says "Private Name." This Indian guy tries to sell me drugs. Creepy guy. A real scammer. Either selling drugs illegally, or just trying to get suckers to order some by credit card and then not delivering. Either way, tell this guy everyone in the house is moving to India an dmaybe he will shut up. HANG UP!

Just got this call for the first time, I think.  Didn't answer (I never do to these weird calls) and they left no voicemail.  They called right back but hung up after 2 rings.

I'm in Kitchener (519 area code) Ontario Canada.  I've asked Bell to put me on the DND list, but we still get quite a few of these calls.

Guys, try *60 to block these unwanted calls....I was able to block this particular ph # however, I'm affraid that they will use another one sooner or later.....I believe there may be a fee for using this feature through your phone system....something like 75cents or so....just to make sure, call your phone company.....Good Luck!...LA

Man, these people are going to drive me LOCO!!...I get at least 2 calls a day from them 646-915-1179 with the same BS as always, they call and ask for another person's name and advise me that they have their prescription...I tell them that whoever they're looking for no longer has this cell ph # and then they ask with a heavy Indian Accent "Do you want to buy prescription drugs?"....what a non-sense question...I am so tired of this...is there anyone out there that knows how to stop these scams?...please advise...LA

on line pharmacy trying to sell pain "prescription" meds.  they call many many times a day and i have asked to be removed and they just hang up and call back at another time.  I got tired of it and played along saying sure i want to place an order.  "Can i have many pills and can i have them shipped to different PO boxes"? and they said yes and asked for my billing information and then i hung up on them.. of course that made it worse and they continue to call.. this is a place of business they are calling also!  What would happen if they got some kids on the phone and they were able to order this stuff and then sell it to others???? Or anyone for that matter.

I live in Ottawa and I got a call today from this number.  It was a man with an Indian accent saying that he was from Bell Sympatico.  He said "you're with Bell, right?" I told him I wasn't but he proceeded with his pitch.  He said that he would need my bank account # if I wanted the deal they were offering.  I told him that I wasn't comfortable with giving my account # to them.  He said, "you know I'm from Bell Sympatico, right?"  I replied "well, that's what you say".  He just laughed and said that his supervisor will call me back tomorrow and I could give my account # to him.  It sounded real busy in the background, like it was a telemarketer centre... not sure though.  I'm curious to see if someone is going to call back.  

I was suspicious to begin with because Bell was already calling me asking for my business back and their # showed up on my phone as BELL CANADA (they actually called me yesterday), plus they were writing me letters so I figure they were legit but when this person called me today the # looked totally unfamiliar.  While I was talking to them, I looked up the # and couldn't find anything, then found this site.  I'll see if they call back tomorrow :o

I have been receiving at least 3 calls per day for the last few days and no one answers and when I try to call back the "mailbox: is full.

Call me regularly (2-3 times a day), Indian accented male, not speaking English though. Never leaves voice mail, but always listens to the entire message before hanging up.

Live in Hamilton, Ontario and received a message on my machine with some guy (no accent) saying "hello?, hello?" then hung up.

Getting multiple calls from them. I answer but they just hang up. I filed a complaint with the do not call registry as this is a business number on the DNC list.
