These Middle Eastern men continually call, and harass me on my cell and at work, I've told my office staff if they get calls for me to hang up on them. They leave threatening messages on my voicemail. If you try to call the number back they leave, its a fast busy. These people are scam artists. I say let them send their "team" of whoever to "drag" me to the courthouse then I would have an opportunity to see these supposed debts I have.
I feel sorry for unsuspecting elderly who may fall for a scam of this nature, they would be afraid of these threats and comply.

First of all , I'd like to introduce myself as a Hacker with a lot of talent and time on my hands.

My Mother was victimized by one of these scammers once, that?s when I decided to put my excess time and talent to reducing the proliferation of these scams and their perpetrators.

If you received a call from these guys then rest assured they already have your information.
The aren't  trying to steal your identity they already have it.

How did they get your name and number ?

You filled out an online form for either a pay-day loan , a mortgage, or a car loan.
These scammers operate like a normal business. They may have even paid a legitimate company to provide the leads (your information).

If the information grabbing site was set up by one of these scammers then they will get first crack at the chance to steal your money, so usually if you don't stop them in their tracks the first time, they will continue to sell your information to other scammers.

How to get your name off their list ?

Let them know you know who they are, and keep in mind that we realize that the scammers themselves frequent these boards, so I only provide generalized information, but it should be enough to get your name off their list.

The Master Mind whom shall remain unnamed is based out of New Jersey, and he has a very impressive front company that has offices both here in the US and in  Noida UP, India. Also he had a really really really nice Mercedes convertible.

They use the aliases they may use :

Justin Floyd, Justin Crowe,  Justin Curl,  Kevin Foster,  David Parker, and Samantha

None of these names are their real names of course and all of the people calling you are located in India.

The name of the guy that runs that office and the Senior guy that eventually you get transferred to is Mobeen Khan.

According to his phone records he makes a lot of calls to Bareilly, so he either lives there or he goes to school there , or both.

Please fight the urge to Google him there are thousands of Mobeen Khans in this world, and it wasn?t easy finding the right one in a country of a billion people.

He actually comes from a descent middle-class family, except for one of his brothers. Lets not drag them into this just yet.

If you received a call from them , call them and ask for them by their real names, so they feel the same anxiety you felt when they called you. Feel free to threaten to call them back daily if they don?t remove your name from their database.

Remember these guys are in India neither US laws nor Indian laws apply to you. So if you were to call them every 5 minutes for their entire shift or if you were to threaten them in any way , you will not get prosecuted.

BTW their shift runs between 9am ~ 8pm EST

Hello I have been dealing with this man for a year now.  I am not the person that he is calling for i answer a switchboard for a large company.  The company has paid to block over 5 of his numbers and he still calls back.  He has been vulgur, rude, and threatening,  Today he called from an actual number that showed on caller id.  He claimed to be officer Johnaton Brown today and he has a diiferent name each time.  The following is all the company names i have pried out of his dirty mouth and the numbers.

Does anyone know if their is away to sue him for verbal sexual assualt or something.  He makes me mad saying vular things when i have an office full of people.  Im not even the person he is calling for mind you.

Our company has received numerous harassing calls from this number stating that everyone that works here are s**ts! He has also cussed out a few of our associates and it would be helpful if someone can make these people stop!! This is crazy and we have no idea how or why they have our number and are calling. He has a very thick accent and we have reported this number to try and get it blocked. Please make this craziness stop!!!

I agree they need to be stopped. They have called me several times from other numbers, when I requested they send me certified mail to verify what it is I owe they really got upset. When I told them I had research the numbers and found they had been reported as a scam, they got real loud with me. I told them to have a good they said dont tell me to have a good day. They threaten me and said they would come to my house I know where you live and I will be sorry.

I received a call from this Indian speaking gentlemen named Peter Brant...screaming my name. I heard the message and he was talking about some debt, I do not owe. I learned last year anytime you do a survey or obtain information about payday loan..or loan over the internet they can get your information....the gentlemen also call my part-time employer's phone.SCAM  SCAM  SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

These idiots r really getting on my nerves and there should b something we can do about these calls especially if the start calling our workplace and if they have our social security numbers. Someone please help us

I have been recieving harassing calls from this number at my job all morning. A man with a thick Indian accent calls and claims his name is James Austin and that he is an officer. He proceeds to tell me that I either pay 300 dollars or the police will come for me do to fraud. He called my job about 15 times in 20 minutes and screamed demanding to speak with a manager. This is BS and needs to be stopped. If anyone knows who to report this to please let me know.

I just got a call from them asking for someone I dont know.  When I told him I don't know the person they asked to speak to my supervisor.  I told him no and he proceeded to cal me all sorts of disgusting names.  I'm calling the police.

Well, they got my home #.  Called me 10 times yesterday in a span of 13 minutes.  I had answered the phone to let them know that I am well aware of their scam and they will not get a blessed cent from me.  He called me an "f'n" w***e, prostitute, b**ch.  I told him that they are just words coming from a man with no soul and he is the sub-species of pond scum.  I laughed at him.  I told him it is his dime and that his calling me, though annoying and irritating, lets me get out all of my frustrations.  I also advised him  that his threats are as empty as his pockets.  I then proceeded to recite the "Pledge of Allegiance" as loud as possible.  He hung up.  He called again.  This time he got the air-horn in his ear.  No call back this time.  I wonder if he is able to claim workman's comp from his "employer".  I understand we are all frustrated about this.  It is unfortunate, but nothing can be done since these dirt bags are calling from outside the US.  The FBI, FTC, etc are all well aware these scams.  They change #'s frequently so just be aware.  Do not confirm ANY information with them.  All they have is the last 4 digitis of your social, address, etc.   If you ever pick up a call and it is a foreign accent telling you about a "legal matter" just start reciting the "pledge" or the "our father" or start singing America the Beautiful.  If that doesn't work - invest in an air horn.  You can purchase one for $1.00 at the Dollar Tree.  That seems to work.

I've been receiving phone calls from someone named Officer Roger Moody. He's foreign and I can barely understand him. From what I did understand, he's been trying to contact my boyfriend. He says my boyfriend is involved in an internet scam and could go to jail and so could I. He won't give me any more information other than that. The number he calls from is 646-918-0991. And the number he wants my boyfriend to call is 646-535-7309. I've called the FTC and they told me they probably got his information when he applied for a pay day loan. I also wanted to say thank you to everyone who posted about these scams. I was very worried but now I'm not and I look forward to telling him where to shove it the next time he calls :) Thanks again!

I just checked my voicemail at work.  Sean so-and-so left me the same message about me going to jail, losing my job, ruining my life/my ssn....blah, blah, blah.  I have dealt with these idiots since 12/2009.  It is annoying and irritating.  I never call them back.  They will stop calling for 6-8 weeks and then they start again.  They do not have my home #.  They have my cell # which I do not answer #'s that I don't recognize.  The # they left to call back was 206-420-6675.  The # they called from was 646-918-0991.  I am not a violent person, but honestly if I had a weapon in my hand with them in front of me I would use it.  They prey on people who may be down on their luck.  They are sick.

I have been receiving calls from them too. I called the FBI, consumer affairs, the 3 credit agencies. I may need to contact the SS Department and change my SS #. I don't know how they got that. But I told the guy that I called the FBI and reported him.....he hung up the phone. The number is Googled to be in White Plains, NY. I told the guy if the Feds don't get him before I do, I'm beatin' his a**.

Called and said i owe 285 in legal fees. SCAM... i am not in any legal trouble but i have never been or ever am trying to be in legal trouble.... people are crazy

The person said that my social security number is under investigation and the left my entire social security number on my voice mail! Is that even legal?! Then said if I don't handle this I will go to jail. SHADY!!

Get as much info as you can and Contact the FBI and the FTC.

Yep, my sister is getting calls from a man with a thick accent saying that they will ruin her life, call her supervisor, because she is  a suspect in some crime. Looked up the # and it is in New York. When u try to call this idiot back his mailbox is full.

Ok everyone.......after spending three hours at my local police department trying to file a report I discovered that there is nothing they can do locally. However, you can all call the Better Business Bureau and report them. The number is 1-800-646-6222. The more calls they get the more serious they will take it. They can get the FBI or CIA involved if needed and that is more than any local police will be able to do. They have had several reports here in Minnesota and are very frustrated that they can do nothing. It's unbelievable that there are people out there that prey on the low income and elderly of this world. So let's ALL make a difference and stop these predators from harming and scaring others.
