Just got a call showed up on caller ID as anonymous. left a message couldn't understand half what he was saying.. Has anyone tryed calling them number back?

I have been recieving calls from this people for two
days now. They won't identify the place of business,  they won't let me talk to a supervisor or manager. I'm not being told the nature of the call, I have no idea whose these people are or what it is that they want from. I have been getting called out of name at my job, I've been threatened with bodily harm, lawsuits and even jail. I've asked them to not call my job disrespecting me and I was told they were going to call me every hour until I did what they asked and give them money. I'm not a complete idiot, I'll go to jail before i give them any money.

I recieved a call from +1 037680433 today where they left a message to call (646) 919-5083 regarding a legal issue. I assumed they had made a call to my number by mistake. When I called they claimed they were from "Cash Today". They said I was being charged with 3 counts of fraud because I didn't pay them for a cash advance loan fron 2007. They insisted I pay $650 before tomorrow to avoid the Sheriff's dept. showing up at my home. They said I needed to get an attorny to fight this and show up in court tomorrow in my state of Washington... or pay the amount owed. When I asked for which court it was, he gave me the run around, and then hung up on me. I checked with my local court and Sheriffs department, and there is no record of anything. The guys name was Brad Smith, but he had a foreign accent... middle eastern. The scary thing is that he knew my address, SS#, where I worked, my bank account number, everything!

I got a call from Brad today at first telling me that i have had a lawsuit filed against me then turns around and tells me that I have had charges files against me and that I would be arrested tomorrow for Fraud, along with Bank fraud and theft by deception. He also told me that my references would be arrested also. I could not help it but laugh. I said arrested for what. He said for being a reference so they would never be able to be one again. I told him I did not velieve that, that you can not arrest someone for being a reference it was not illegal. He said I work for a law firm I know the law better than you. I told him I would not bet on that. (have a law degree even if I am not a lawyer)I just told me fine then I will get an attorney. I told him do not call me again. He called me right back and said you laugh and you tell me not to call you well you will be crying tomorrow and go to hell. What a piece of work. I will wait right here to be arressted tomorrow. I will also wait to see my deceased mother and brother (both references ) to be arressted also. what a piece of work this "Brad" is.

I keep getting messages from "Brad" also very broken english.  Would not give me their companies name or any information because I would not tell them who I am.  He got in an argument with my husband.  I have blocked their numbers from my cell phone.

I just had a message on my machine today, the guy said he was Officer John Allen, spoke very broken English, was not able to pronounce my last name. Said  he was calling me because of "technical problems on their end" he was not able to reach my daughter. He said he need to talk to her about a case, but then I could not understand the rest. Emailed my daughter and she has no idea who this is. Dont trust people like that.

I too have been recieving calls from a Brad Smith and Thomas Wayne. They called asking for someone and I told them they were not here.First they said they were from a law firm and then the sheriff dept. I called back and my number dials back as a blocked number and the first thing the man said was why call me on block number who give you block number I want the name of this company, I sue them for this. And the echo of my voice made even more suspicious about these people. They said ok Maam we will remove the number from data log, but yet instill they called right back again as soon as I hung up with them. I contacted the FTC about them and filed a complaint. These people need to be punished for doing this to people.

WOW!! This is crazy. I received a call from a Brad and like what everyone else said they were RUDE and they said that i need to call back or legal action will take place. I called the 646-918-5083 number back and it was disconnected. I was worried before and after that i just laughed.

I just got a call from this number 1-037-680-433 (FOR THE SECOND TIME AROUND, they called with this mess like 2-3months ago).  He would give me any details and the echo on the phone was bad, so he gave me this number 646-918-5083 to call back, but I checked this site first, and didnt call back, 5mins later he called again stating "You didnt call me right back", i told him i know it is a scam, then he said "You will be behind the bars tomorrow, have a good day"...this go 'roung he said his name was "Brad Smith"

How do I report these idiots, because they are harrassing me at my job. they refuse to give me any information regarding this debt.

WOW, just had a call from these a** holes too, they are idiots!  Thinking that one will ever believe them and their threats!

I received a call this morning from Kevin Jones who left a voice mail advising that if I did not return the call about this time sensitive matter, bad things would happen to me. He wished me good luck.

I received a similar call several months ago and they told me they were sending the police. I told them "send them, I'm waiting." They never called back.

This number called my job and asked for me and said his name was Officer John Allen, he said there was a warrant for my arrest and I needed to call back immediately.  I called and they would not give me any information at all, except the officers would be at my job Thursday morning with a affadivit to arrest me and I would have to explain to the judge.

I received a call on my office voice mail from "Justin" (foreign sounding India?) asking me to call back or have my legal representative call back immediately about a "very time sensitive matter." I have received one of these calls at home before and cursed that caller out when he threatened me and would not tell me what his call was about.  I am reporting this to someone in authority as I believe it is a scam and I refuse to return the call or talk to them if somehow they manage to get through.

Well--I agree Mikie.  I also received 20 calls--made me so berry mad as I was on a first date with my boyfriend.  I was so upset that I could not take him to my favorite place in West Hollywood.  I just was a horrible date.  I was so berry depressed that I had to go to the YMCA and dance to the Village People in the shower.  By the way Mikie--can we get together--send me a photo--mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

These Indian turds called me about my bad debt.  I had a fit--lost my meds--chased a lady through Wendy's--dropped a frostie on my lap--ohh meee--- peed in my pants--and did another no-no.  I am going to sue these rag heads along with a bunch of my friends--I loves to file lawsuits

I think they are a bunch of cow loving mensies.  They are into funky things and get excited over making these berry bad phone calls.  Everyone call them in the name of Allah!!!!!!!!!

It's a illegal payday loan company posing as a law firm.  I reported them to the FTC.  Since May 19th I have received 15 calls from them, using the same script..."the very second you get this message....." and they are all foreigners.  The one person could not even pronouce my name, hung up, must have studied my name an called back two mintues later.  The numbers they are calling from are 973-482-3624, 410-713-4846, 904-239-3969, 646-918-5083 & 201-234-4071.  The names they are using are Calvin, Michael, nathan, Leana, Eddie & Brad.  Brad called me at work today and I spoke with him and asked him for proof of what I borrowed and he could told me that I had no right to see it.  he told me that I was a prime suspect, and when i asked him what he meant by Prime Suspect, he couldn't explain himself.  Be very careful.  They want your banking informaiton. Do not give anything out.  They threatened me with being arresed by the Commonwealth of my state.  That was 15 calls ago and it has yet to happen.  They are a scam.

Someone aclled me from this number abd stated that I wsa going to be picked up on Monday for check fraud. They gave me somebody's ss number and stated that it was me.

I just called that number back and was able to talk to someone. After they ask me for my lawyer name and number, I ask what was wish about, and said I'm not giving out any info untill he tells me what this is about and then he hangup, tryed callin the number back and its busy

A person by the name of Shawn Richards called my home telling me I was being sued for not paying back some loan they assumed I took out (I have not nor have I ever taken a loan out over the internet). Told me I worked for a company by the name of Benefits, which I haven't ever worked for. Gave names of people I knew, name of my bank I use and said I owed them money. He was rude, could not speak slow enough to understand him, screamed at me, was dyrogertoy about my age, children and home status. Called over and over and over. Hung up on me several times and finally I told him I wanted to speak to a manger, he refused to let me speak to a manager and told me I had no manners and was not allowed to speak to one. The last call he merely said "okay so you're losing your home and you're going to be living on the street" I said,"okay this is harassment and if you call again I am calling the police. He would not give me the name of the place he worked at and the only thing I have for contact is this number.

I don't know who it is, but I wouldn't worry about it.  Whoever it is, they are violating the law with the threats they are issuing on the phone.
