I keep getting the same calls with the thick accent and go by the name of John Robinson they have been calling me for several months. How do we get rid of them

So I called the number back and asked him his address he said New York, I said where in New York he said I cant give you that until I know who I am taking to... I said I am not giving you my name until You tell me your address.  He waited about 10 seconds, I said go ahead I will wait until you search the web for a New York address- he hung up after that :)  I hope people really dont fall for this.

Got a voice mail from them this morning number came through my caller ID as 19393.
Again very thick Indian accent said that a friend of mine is in trouble with the law - Oh he said he was an officer and he could not say his own name right he stumbled on it each time he said it.  
He said my friend was going to be arrested for fraud if I did not call him back - saying he used me as a reference on something.  WHATEVER... My husband - not my friend applied for one of these fast 1000.00 loans and ever since then it threw him into scammer hell!!

This person had a heavy accent and told me either I need to call them back or my attorney needs to call them. They said they are trying to collect money on a debt that I never had. This place is a scam they call me several times a day every couple of weeks. They also state that if they do not get a call back the police are going to come and arrest me. This time the person said his name was Mark Wayne.
