i got a call from local number and the name of the person jerry stevens and  business name is National gifting center,they said i win 4 prizes and i graunted to get 1gift for sure
when i went to thier its true and i get vication trip
although the presentation is like hammer on our head but i got my gift

a gay name fakhir khan told me that i am calling you from new york when i serched the number on google i found a scam i front of me.

The caller said that his name was Faraz and that I have won one of 4 prizes and that they got my number from a Holiday Inn. Then he connected me with his supervisor who in a fake accent said that his name was Stevens and in order to verify that they are calling the right person I have to give them 2 pieces of ID over the phone. I told him that he was a crook and hung up.

I got a call from 718-534-4829 of the National Gifting Service inviting me to the Northbrook, Shermer Rd address. They said their website is "under construction" at this point. Searched the net while on a call with them, did not see anything positive, so decided to hang up on them. They tried to call back couple of times to which I did not answer. I got their phone number by asking them, the Caller ID would always display "No Name".

Can anyone confirm if this is a scam?

i also get a call from national gifting center,and he say that we win prizes,all in total there are 4 prizes and we get 1 prize and i need to go 1935 shermer road northbrook illinois
when i been there its real and we stay there round abt 2 hours and  i got vication packege and 1000$ internet shopping card.
they also offer me to become the member of the resort at special prizes and i accept it,

I got a call from the same number. from smewhere National Gifting Centre . I book me And my spouse Nancy Fisher for Friday at 8:00 pm .We were there at time and i find them very well behaved and it was a very dating atmosphere, i enjoyed my time owa there of around 2 hours, I signup for a vacation Tour they Offer me avery cheap vacation at a 5star Resort and in last i draw a TOSHIBA TV , After Having my gift second day i also recive a call from same number, they call me again to thnks me, and i was ashamed that i should have to call them to thnks them. They were so honest. I think that all above mention comments are absoulely wrong i DIS-AGREE with all of them. They are so Kind Hearted Peoples althought they give you cll again again and again for our own convient.

There Job is to let us know abt gifts

I got a call from Holiday Inn that I won one of four prizes. Said I had to go to 901 31st washington street, Harbor Complex Bldg, Wash DC 20007 (very sketchy area). Kept calling from his cell phone... beware of his scam.

He said that he was a Manager at the Holiday Inn, and that this was Urgent Personnal business.

I work for a Phys. Office, and he wanted to speak with the Phys.

IM,mrs khawar i got call from (NATIONAL-GIFTING-CENTER ON BEHALF OF HOLIDAY IN) and the name person name is ahmed faraz.he says im vrification manegor who in a fake accent.He says im lasbians boy.They said i win four prizes and i graunted to get one gift for sure.Im so happay.He says u come down over gifting center and draw a gift.Im go and attaint a sales presentation.This is a good presentation and all guy so good i so happay..............

Told me all the same as above but use American Airlines not a hotel.  After telling the "supervisor" several times that I didn't want to be contacted anymore he hung up one me and now calls about every 10 minutes.  This happened about 30 minutes ago for the first call.  I'm filing a complaint with the BBB.

Definitely scammer - he's into calling texas now.  Funny how all the praising notes on here have the same horrible grammar.  How do we get this guy's phone shut off?

Has anyone noticed that all of the positive posts here are by the same person with the very poor spelling and terrible use of the English language? More proof that this person is an outright thief and scammer.
BEWARE!

A man called and first asked for my wife, and I asked what they were calling about and he said "That is personal, sir."  I hung up on him and then he called back.  I hung up on him again, and then they called a third time, this time my wife answered and he tried to tell her he was from some Royal Palms gifting center and that she had filled out a entry form around Christmas.  My wife never gives away our home phone number so we knew it was bogus.  She asked him not to call again, she hung up, he called again.  She then demanded to talk to a supervisor and he gave her the same number they called from.  The "supervisor" then called and we told them that we knew it was a scam and not to call again.  Filed complaint with FCC.

This scammer has been calling into Texas for several weeks and driving me crazy! Same heavily accented person keeps calling, can barely understand him. When I reply my voice comes back to me in a 2-3 second delay which is very frustrating. I asked to speak to his supervisor and the guy actually came on and in a very condescending manner told me he knew why I was calling and hung-up on me. Wish I knew what to do to stop these people.

The people at National Gifting Center are not affiliated with Holiday Inns in any way and are missleading people by tlling them that they are managers at Holiday Inn.  We do have legitimate phone numbers who do have vacation packages and tours but they are not affiliated with National Gifting Center in any way.  Anyone getting calls from these people are being lied to.

These people are scammers.  They have no association with IHG in any way.  IHG is the corporate office for all Holiday Inn brands of hotels.  These people are not being honest when they say they are calling from or for Holiday Inn.  DO NOT believe them.  None of them have any affiliation with Holiday Inn in any way.

called me 3 times in a row til I threatened to blow a police whistle in his ear! said he was from Royal Palm travel and I would not even begin to listen, I hung up, he called right back and asked me WHY I hung up!

Called me as well.  No CID.  Told him I wasn't interested, he called back three times.  Spoke to a supervisor who hung up on me.  Definitely smelled very phishy.  (And yes, that's spelled incorrectly on purpose)

I'd like to add that the comments above from people who have "won" could very well be from representatives of the "Gifting Center" who are trying to add credibility.

Some dude was rude and kept asking for my name. I told this mother, he did not live here any more. He just hung up!

Called around 7 saying he's from holiday inn express, when we said not interested he began to yell...definitely a scammer...sounded like he had some weird indian accent...

i got a call from someone named daniel he said he was wid holiday inn and i signed up to win the prize, it sounded unbelievable but i thought of trying it because he was very confident and spoke nicely . he gave the details and i went to there office and i there was an excellent presentation although i didnt purchase anything and i was not even obligated to but i a mini vacation that was quite worth my time, so far i was good.....

ya this is indeed an scam. I also worked in an out bond call center located at Karachi. i worked there for few days but i did not get any success.The reason why i worked there was just to check my English but i was so confused and afraid of speaking to Americans that i could hardly speak any thing understandable. i was humiliated by every one.but after leaving that bull s**t job made an American friend named ben through yahoo chat.i spoke to him via voice chat n did it for hour. and i spoke him in the manner that he was able to understand almost every thing.i found him a very nice friend indeed..then i realized that Americans are so nice they humiliate you only when you try to scam them..

They said that they are from National Gifting Center and offer a valuable gift.
