Craigslist scammer. Claimed to be an oceanographer getting ready to sail at any moment. Was in a hurry to buy my motorcycle sight unseen for the asking price. All I had to do was open a paypal account and give him my account number. Also texted from 646-481-9083. Beware, do not give him any personal information.

This jack*** is a craigslist scammer. He/she wanted to purchase my motorcycle sight unseen for the asking price. Claimed to be an oceanographer getting ready to sail at any moment so he/she was in a rush to buy. All I had to do was open a paypal account and give him/her my account number. This prick is persistant, he/she also texted me from 646-481-9083. Beware, don't give this person any of your personal information.

texted us about rv on craiglist, said he wanted it for his son, was an oceanographer leaving soon willing to pay full price. Needed to buy now because he was about to leave soon. Wouldn't give his name or any other information, only gave phone number. Said that he had a shipping company that would pick up the RV. Beware, Beware!!!!!

Received reply to craigslist ad from this number. Sender asks if item is still available. It seems as though craigslist is rife with these scammers. Easily scammers respond 3:1 over legitimate buyers.

I listed an RV on Craigslist in Ohio and received a message from this scammer today Sunday Dec. 8th.He said his name was David and that he wanted to buy the RV for his son and wanted to pay full asking price. told him I didn't do paypal and the sale must be face to face. also told him I was on to him as a scammer and reporting him as we spoke. no more messages from him since.

Every one of you have said the exact same thing...he wanted to buy my truck for his son, and has a contract that states he could be called to leave any minute and wanted to pay me through paypal....Thank god I didn't fall for it!!
