This number called me today at 6:16pm EDT. I have a Toronto telephone number, the 647 exchange is used in the Greater Toronto Area (Ontario, Canada) I didn't answer since I don't pick-up unknown numbers. I tried calling it and I got the message that my call cannot be completed as dialled.

They are going through messages on classifieds for phone numbers. I posted an ad the other day selling a stroller and now im getting the calls. I got the same call a few months ago when I was selling some other things on a newspaper classified and craigslist. they are a SCAM im sure.

No one on line.  Called back on another phone and message (operator, I presume) said "This number not in use".

I called 1 800 number three different times and advised them that I'm on Do Not Call List and requested they stop calling me.  They assured me they would take me off their dialler but I keep getting calls.

I tried calling again this morning to give someone a piece of my mind but now there is a recorded message asking you to leave your name and number so they can get back to you with a space on their great website.

I've been dialling the number all morning in hopes that they get charged per call that they receive.

Stop using my cell minutes.  Who are these people?  Is there nobody who can stop them and their recorded messages.  This should get them jail time!

this is a company that found my rental ad in the local paper and offered to post my ad on line for $90.  they phoned twice until I blocked their number.  Ask you phone provider for your block number code.

Like others, I placed a classified ad in a state paper in early December 2010 and began getting calls from this phone number on the number I listed in the ad (the only way this company could have gotten it).  Thanks to this website, I now know the origin of the company and how they got my info., although I had suspected that they picked up on my ad.  I've sold many items on Craigslist and have never had this problem so I really think it's the ads.  Their message on my voicemail says for $90 they will place a web ad of my item with picture and guarantee its sale.  I didn't call them back.  I also am on the National Do Not Call List, but Canadian businesses may not be covered.  The last call came in 3 days ago.  I'm hoping they've given up.

Damn machine keeps calling me after it stole my number from a classified ad on the newspaper, called me 3 times within the past 3 hours.

Had to go into Verison call settings and block their number, there's no other way to stop them from calling.

I keep getting the nusance calles from 647-258-5082 trying to sell some web advertising.  Have asked to go on their DNC list several times, I would never deal with a company that treats people this way.

they are breaking all the rules.......  report them!    when reporting them - you have to go through all the pages when it says next or continue.....  most people probably stop with it looks like they filled in all the info.....  this is not the case............. when you are finished - you will get a thank you for filing the complaint.................  they are probably getting very few registered complaints about any calls due to the long process of filing a compaint!

I placed an ad in the Omaha World Herald lost and found section and have been receiving calls from an automated recording on my cell phone several times a day ever since.  How can I stop this?  I am on the do not call list.  How do they get away with this?  I will never place a newspaper ad again.
