I got the call from this number today. Recorded message is old joke calling my cell phone every now and then in the past years.

Laws in our country are weak or not followed and they do this because they can!

I told them once I will do business only if we meet face to face. Did not get a call for a while - now, again they call random numbers. Ignore it and bear with it with hope police might do something about it one day...

I'm not sure I would reccommend blocking entire area codes.  The second-last telemarketing call I received had a number that looked familiar.  Afterwards, I realized they had the same 647-xxx number as us.  We have a very old Vonage number, so maybe the scammers picked up a block of numbers near ours.  If you block similar numbers to the telemarketer you may be blocking legitimate calls from real people and businesses  - family, friends, doctors, etc.  But I do agree these calls are a problem that need a solution!

I got a call, didn`t pick up, they left voice mail, some kind of credit card service... Blocking them!

I got a call from 647-258-5440 and once I answer they hang up. But I found out I filed Do Not Call List makes me get more this kind of calls.....

Person behind calls is C. kruszynsky.  a cowardly insane evil individual who will  stop at nothing to keep his presence alive in your life.

Sick of idiots calling at all hours. Cancelling my home phone. Today was the first telemarketing call on my cell.

Just received call, didn't answer, voicemail was automated message about credit cards and it was cut short.

I just got a call today from this number as well. Didn't answer (would have but couldn't find my phone in time). Caller did not leave a message.

Got a call in Toronto.

has to be a scam......they wanted all kinds of info off my credit cards....i didnt give them anything.....when i said no they started to get upset.....said they could get me a lower interest rate.

Just another one of the spoofed numbers used by the "card services" scammers. Google my name to learn how to stop their annoying calls, while also having some fun!

Robo-dialing credit repair or credit card scam. They dial whole exchanges, which is why people get these calls on their cells and on DNC listed numbers.

Ignore it. It's the phone equivalent of spam. It's a pure numbers game. Answer or have voicemail, they'll keep calling. "Dial 2 to be removed from our list" just gets you more calls. (You just confirmed your number; though what the point in calling people who say they don't want to be called is beyond my ken.)

Those characters have a million numbers they will use.  I started out blocking numbers and now I'm blocking area codes..  Stopped them for now..

This is a spam call from "Credit Services". It must be a new number that they are using since I do not see any reference to it when I Googled.
It is now blocked on my smartphone using one of the numerous Android programs.
