Looks like they are back at it again. Called at 11:21 this morning. Since I did not recognize the number I let the answering machine handle it. No message left.

Received a call from this number at 2:33 AM.  Did not recognize the number and did not answer.  
(Spam calling in the middle of the night?  What next?!)

Call from this number at 9.05am 8Apr2012. Background noise with women and kids. Male caller (foreign accent) said hello and when I answered hello he hung up.

This person keeps calling me and staying that their name is my friends name... and my friend has a really unique name so really weird... we should report them to the authorities someone stop being a wussy and do it but we are too wussy 2 do it btw its a landline

if some one is calling you through skype and your cell  area code is 647 than you will receive call from 6472883009

I just got a phoencall from this number and it was a friend of mine calling me from skype. He buys skype credit to call phones. Thats why when u call back, its busy, probably voip.

Upset got called at 3:11 am I did not answer on time

Funny. Just got this missing call today. Check the voice mail and it is a friend of mine. I guess it's a free Google voice call as someone here suggested. So it could be your friend or some f#$% scam calls and it's more like the later. I decided to block it.

got called couple of times early morning - u r right its a phone on internet and anybody can use it for 2 cents.we didnt pick it considering it a prank call..but someone left message from Australia-sydney for us whom we know very well - its obvious now that its an internet no which ppl can use from outside north America to call america and canada - and sometimes because of distant call the message left is not clear enough . I hope it helps all including us....

I just received a call from this person... some guy... he said hi to me then I asked who this was he said "you don't know?" and started to get all disappointed... he said "you don't have my number saved?" I asked who this was again but he just said... Merry Christmas! It's the Grinch... then Hung up...

Yeah this number  called me and then I got a blocked ca and when I called back the line was busy who is this person calling

Funny, I just opened a gmail account last week to sell something and I didn't want to use my regular email.  I just received a call from this number, and one at 5 am from a blocked number.  Time to get rid of my gmail.

The telephone number and your personal information are being sold to these crooks, by call centre employees that operate out of India. If you are a Bell Canada customer or TD Canada Trust customer, then,whenever you call these Companies customer service, your calls will be answered in India. Some of these reps will copy your information and later sell these. If you ever call any Company's customer service, do not give any information out, before you can verify the location of the call centre and the person you are speaking to is not out of Country.

If it was from google then they are selling information. how you ask???

So 3 days ago i go sign on my gmail account but it asked me to enter a phone number beacuse they thought my account was being used in other countries, so i gave them my number and got a message with a code and entered it changed my pass and all was done.

Now i did give them my number so could it be possible that google is doing somthing with it??

that would make more sense if the number was really a google voice number

This number is calling Us day time and in the middle of the night using also 171 083 2292 numbers  totally bizarre and uncomfortable ...male voice answer (one's) sound like late 30 and older)

I receive 8-10 calls from this number every day and when i answer they hang up immediately

Mystery solved! It is a phone over internet protocol, powered by Google. I also got two missed calls, called back, had a busy signal. But then it rung again and when I picked up it was my husband calling Canada from Greece. He says it's a device that lets you connect a phone to the over the internet protocol and you call North America for two cents per minute. And it's impossible to call it back from the other side. So whatever weird conversations you were having with this number, these were just random people using Google's free phone.

I just got a call from that  # and  it was at 6:42  am Sunday... omfg how can people get away with this ?  It seems I am not alone in the haressment :(

Got a call today. A drunk male voice asked for my husband. I told he wasn't at home. That guy then said he was from CID and would send warrant to my apartment. He was accusing me for false charge. This is really annoying and irritating.

i just got called by that number on my magic jack it sounded like ".............ROBERTSON!........................................................................ok...im done......

Got call and was told that because I had entered (nonsense) some contest, survey or questionnaire, I was lucky enough to have won the opportunity to win one  of five wonderful prizes includeing $1500cash, 1000 in furniture a 7 day florida vacation or a 42" TV or some other thing which I have since forgotten. I was told to come 'without money' just two pieces of photo id proving who I was.  I had to come to a location at 6175Hwy 7 in woodbridge and ONLY at an appointed hour.
Since one of the criteria for winning was that I or my spouse had to be under 65 I was told that my winning gift (I guess not one of the 5 grand prizes) would be mailed to me.
I won't be holding my breath on this one.

got a call from this number at 12 noon from a woman stating that she was Doctor but the name was not one i recogised or can pronounced and she keeps asking for my husband by his first and last name and kept saying this is DR. so and so..

from this number i got number of calls but speak

A man ID him self as Robert said I had filled in a form. I told him I was on a no contact list with the crc but this did not stop him he called back 4 more times I will be calling the CRTC in the morning and report this!

if anybody has this person's whereabouts I'd pay for specifics.  Dude would be eating his own a** right now.
