I found this number on my cellphone and when I called the guy who answered said he was calling for a bank but did not leave his name or the name of the company

When caller ID 647-288-3694 leaves a msg, I'm instructed to ring them back at 888-851-8699.  Have yet to call, but I know this is collection related.

This # comes up as either the 1-647-288-3694 or a 1-888 # they keep leaving messages for someone who had our phone # before us and they ask us to call back giving a case #. We've called back and keyed in the extension given and once we do the call goes dead.  It's only ever a recorded message never I live person who leaves the message if it was an actual person they would know that these messages are not for us.  I think the previous people who had are # we're in a great deal of debt because we've had collection agencies call as well, since they ask us to quote a case # we're assuming it's another collection agency.  But we can't get them to stop calling and they call 5-10 times a day - every day and it's been 2 months now.  We can't leave a message to tell them to stop - it's insane.
