I'm new to this credit card stuff fresh out of high school. I believe that you needed an pin number to access my account, but now after falling into this phone scam I see not. A Guy called my phone he had my address and information so I figure it was one of the online jobs I was doing. He talks and talks about all these give aways and gift cards I won and all I had to do is pay 1 dollar for shipping,  so me unaware oftheae scams gave him my 16 digit card number. I told my mom about all the stuff I won she had me cancel my card right away

This number  647-288-7559  according to Spokeo is from Gywnn Oak Maryland. It called me a few times.
I dont know why or how they got my cell phone # Im in California ????
I think the Do not Call List is Fake.   I put my number on that list (Then I started getting even more of these Telemarketer Call?  Be careful about putting your number on that List.  It backfired  WTF?

HAS CALLED TWICE TODAY AND i DO NOT ANSWER CALLS THAT I DO NOT KNOW. DID RESEARCH TO FIND THEY ARE DOING THIS TO ALL. PLEASE TAKE OUR NUMBERS OFF THE CALLING LIST. THE NAME BELOW (CANONS-DIR-RESP) IS ANNOYING ALOT OF PEOPLE. THEY WAS GOING TO LEAVE A MESSAGE BUT ALL I HEARD WAS BACKGROUND NOISE .

Oh my god! I fell for it! and whoever it is they have my information. how can I fix this huge mistake!?

This number called my cell phone and after a long chat of the person on the other line trying to convince me of fiving them my credit card number in exchange for an "offer"on twenty five sollar gift cards, I realizes that it was probably a scam. Then after little research online I found thay this is a common scam. I was very xlose too. This is unlawful and targets innocent people.

I got the same call today from the same number.the guy had all my infos from me like card number and expiry and asked me Yes or no to proceed and I said Yes but asked many questions... and then  he asked me to enter the last 4 digit number.And at that time i said i cant and asked for the details of him. He said his name is Josh Curtis and ID No is - 63200187. He said he is from Shopping essentials plus with toll free number - 1877-442-5774. Then i dropped the call but he called me again and again but i didnt pick up.no idea what will happen.let me approach a cop soon.

I had the same call today from 647.288.7558....said that he was calling from visa and master card, but the thing is its the same guy (customer service ) that picks up time to time when a call in to make my cc payment over the phone.....same name Gino Garcia im sure of this because i hate dealing with him....so he tells me that he wants to send me a $25.00 WalMart gift card because im such a great customer. he goes on to verify my address and he tells me that i just need to give him my exp day for my credit card....

They called me and had all my information, credit card number and all so I am having to cancel my account! It really sucks! I told them over and over I wasn't interested in what they have or want to give me and they better not take any money out of my account!

They asked me to read my 16 digit card number even though he stated to work for visa and mastercard.

I'm curious who is at this number. I don't recall calling anyone in Toranto, Ontario

Yeah i just receive a call like this yesterday and i told them i don't have any card so they keep calling me.Well for sure its a scam coz why they have to ask u about your debit card or credit number if you won something..uggghhh too many fraudulent scams this days and get out smarted by them.

They called at 8:45 pm.  A man with a Spanish accent stated that they were going to give me a $25
gift certificate.  They had my name and address.

All they needed was THE EXPIRATION DATE ON MY CREDIT CARD!

I hung up.

I don't know who this is, but they need to be blocked.

they called me and i answered. ironically i have a visa...after about 30 mins, my husband took the phone and said that if we wanted to talk to our bank, they said they were from our bank, that he would talk to hisn personal advisor. so the guy said it's not a scam but he wanted the card number. i told him i wasnt comfortable doing that on the phone, so he tried even harder to get the info.

call came from 647-288-7559 telling me I won a $1500 gift card and it was no charge for it. but then I had to give them my visa credit card numer so it can be charge $1 for shipping. I said send e my gift card first and I will send you $1. hahahah he said okay :)

They did the same stuff to my to my best friend today, called said they where from her bank and wanted to send her a 25$ gift card bc she was a lucky drawer of it. said they had her account number and everything just needed her to verify that she was the right person and tell them her account stuff. thank god she didn't but, instead she said she gave a bogus number and the man/women accepted it. so in return of the man/women accepting it my friend said if you where my bank then you would have known that was the wrong number. said all she heard after that was click.

By the way this number is a New Zealand number.  I did nothing regarding Facebook but am getting calls from this number as well.  So not sure it is related to anything on Facebook.
