Classic scam. Surprised you can still find victims. Guess they haven't found this website and seen the obvious desperation of you scammers. The only "people" having a "good time" is you crooks when you get to party with the money you steal from innocent victims!

Jack, see my reply earlier.  Believe it or not, Its all legit and YES there are cruises and free hotel rooms.

The cruise is probably only three days and the hotel rooms for two nights.

You are responsible for getting there and back and, any documentation that you need to get you to the point of departure.

Actually, you'll have a great time and the local economies will benefit from your visit.

There is no fraud here and if you can afford to get to Miami, usual departure point, and have spending money you'll enjoy it.

Think for a minute about local events, conventions etc.  and how much money they bring into our local economies. . .MILLIONS.  and helps to keep people employed in the public service sector.  Hotel maids, bar tenders, waitresses etc. Why do you think Cities actually offer incentives to get these people?

Think, people, think!  The shipping lines and hotels at the destinations for free mini vacations would have long been closed down if it was fraudulent.  

People having a good time, relaxed and happy tend to spend money so why not take advantage of ti?

Certain companies are exempt from the ,"Do Not Call" list, two being political parties and charities.  If you don't recognize the number, don't pick -up.  SIMPLE!

You are all wrong about the free cruises.  I worked in the travel industry for years and this is probably the cheapest method of advertising that the cruise lines and hotels have.

You are normally offered a free cruise during the slack months and possibly free hotel rooms.. The shipping lines and hotels know that despite the trips or rooms being free, you will be spending money.

Although food is free on board the ship, drinks at the bars/nightspots aren't.  Hair dressers, massages, gift shops all require up-front cash.  they know that when people are in a holiday mood they tend to spend money.

It also benefits any locations that you may visit. Would you really go to Jamaica, for example, without picking up a souvenir?  For the hotels,it  helps to stop them having to lay-off staff at these times.

The thing that most people forget is that it does take money to get there.  You are responsible for getting to and from the destination of departure, any documents you may need, i.e. passport and spending money.

Despite what you may thing, these are genuine offers.  Just ensure that its a reputable hotel/shipping line.

Besides, all these companies know that if you had a good time you'll probably tell your friends.  Word of mouth is the absolute best advertising.

AND CALLS ORIGINATING IN ANOTHER COUNTRY do NOT apply to dnc rules; however, if you manage to get yourself on their internal dnc list, you have legal recourse only THEN if they continue calling.

continued calls from 5 numbers...this, another 647 and now 201 area code. a loop hole in the DNC list states that calls of a survey nature are EXEMPT, and though this is a telemarketing call but first you complete a "short" survey. ottawa cannot do s*** unless proven fully that these calls are in violation of the guidelines established under the bs DNC rules.

The National Do Not Hesitate To Call List is useless and the CRTC is impotent. Hundreds of thousands of complaints, only a few convictions, small fines that don't hurt these bozos, and even then most fines go uncollected.

Just don't answer unknown callers.

The real issue is that the telephone system is antiquated. It has never tried to keep up with the telemarketers. I wish at least we were like the UK where the call display info is sent BEFORE the first ring, unlike here where it's AFTER the first ring. With proper equipment in the UK you can prevent the phone from even ringing. Here, at best it will ring once.

Maybe if Bell was legally obligated to provide free number blocking to unlimited numbers, we'd see a change. As long as it costs virtually nothing to robo-call, then don't expect any changes.

It's a good thing I'm on the no call list. To bad it doesn't work.

Don't pick up if you don't recognize the area code. Let the voice mail answer see if they leave a message. Usually they will not. Let them waste the time. Get calls at least twice a day. Don't answer any of them.

Always calls after midnight (Ontario)!! I don't feel like doing a survey after I've been awakened by the phone!! If my phone rings after midnight it had better be an emergency!!

They've called here every day this week, even today which is Sunday!! When I answer, there's only silence at the other end and then they hang up. Idiots!!

I just received the call as well, nobody on the other end.  When I called back it gave me the option to remove my number from their records.  Not a bad idea to do!!

It's a fraud call have received two calls in the last two days. They have a recorded message asking for a pseudo political survey.

They eventually request a credit card number. This is a fraud to get your credit card or personal information.
