They keep calling and hanging up without leaviong a message - very frustrating as I am job hunting!

this number was on my caller ID at 1:44pm, I called it back and it said it wasn't in service or was disconnected.

I keep getting this phone call, from 6474382359, every day at 5:30pm.  And when I call back, its silent, there is no answer................creepy!

this number called my cell. i answered and said hello twice. the line hung up.

This 647-438-2359 calls me maybe twice a day it really getting to me because Im searching for a job and this damn number keeps getting my hopes up. also I have a brand new pay as you go phone so if i pick up with out reading the number it costs me money.

This stupid goshdarn # calls me everyday and doesn't leave a message.  If i pick up it is dead air.  When i call it back it says it is not in service.  I am starting to think it is aliens or something...???

This number calls me everyday at around 4:00-5:00 pm I always seem to miss the call though.... is there anyway I can block the number?

called to take a survey for TD do not give any info.This is not TD canada trust.

I had this number call my phone they said they were TD. I never answer long distance calls because it costs me money so i picked up the phone with a forign acent and just had fun with the call so i dident have to hear the annoying long distance phone ring. After hanging up with them i researched the number and found multiple answers for what the number is. Me and my roomate now think this number is just a scam.

That site i looked at it and the number it says to use for contact does not work. I get these damn calls all the time with dead air and the just hang up and i 411'ed it and got the number you all are discussing and can't get through to the 1 877 808 6611...any ideas?

I'm having continuous phone calls from various numbers.  Sometimes I receive phone calls every 1/2 hr.  When I pick it up, nobody is there. Nor any voice mail left.  Doing *69 gives me the number; looking it up on 411.ca tells me it's a landline: Call-Net Communications.  

I think you folks are right.  Companies are contracting out this communications company to make sales calls on their behalf.  

I did put my name on our National Do Not Call List. So now, companies are circumventing the process by having someone else call on their sales pitch behalf.  This is very annoying to say the least.  Legal action should be taken against Call-Net.

I get the same call all of the time!!!  Drives me crazy... and when someone offers to take a message they say "No Thanks" and hang up.

Call-Net Communications - Landline. This is the parent company for Sprint Canada. I was able to locate this info through Yahoo.ca white pages

Calls numerous times daily, hangs up if I answer.

It's Direct Energy - they called me yesterday and actually spoke to me instead of dead air this time.  Tried to sell me on fixed electricity pricing.  Not interested.  Rate not competitive.

different companies contract out this company 'Call-Net Communications ' to make phone calls on their behalf and to sell people things, so different areas might have different things being sold to them.

I got direct energy again - this is the flipping 4th time I told them to take me off their list.  I thought it was against some law to keep calling after you have been taken off.

It is 2008 and the number still continues it's reign of terror. If it is Direct Energy they need to fix it. I hate stupid random calls from unknown sources.

TD Canada Trust this time - looks like they are contracting out to sell disability insurance or some-such life insurance policy. annoying.
They also use the number 416-488-8181

647-438-2359 called and I got only dead air.  What annoyed me the most was that the call came in at 9:22 PM. I was already in bed!

I have received calls from this number two days in a row now on my home phone.  I also dont answer calls that I dont recognize. They do not leave a message on my machine.  I live in Barrie.

On internet lookups I have found that this number is maintainted through Call-Net communications which when accessing their website all contact numbers listed are no longer valid.  Further internet search shows that Call-Net communications no longer exists, it was bought out by ROGERS COMMUNICATIONS in Toronto, ontario in 2005.  The fact that they STILL (4 years later) use Call-Net communications and that the old website with defunct "contact" numbers still exists tells me ROGERS is trying to hide their possession of this widely used for telemarketing communications service.  Since I am on the no call list and have been for months I cant wait to get a "live" person at some point!!!!!
