This number technically doesn't exist. It was owned by a company that no longer is in business and was bought by Rogers. It used to be held by Call-Net in Toronto. When you pick up the phone you will get a momentary beep and the line will go quiet. Someone's trunks are not working properly! I've had the same issue with a number from a Bell network - I called Bell and yelled at them, they fixed it...

Those fools call our number offering some shady business... haha... or... they are just lying. I think it's just another scam.

The automated message they leave (many times) is:
"Hi, this is an important message from CANADIAN BONDED CREDITS LIMITED, CBCL regarding an urgent business matter. Please contact our office immediately upon receiving this message at 1-866-294-1770. once again the number is: 1-866-294-1770"

that's it...

We don't do, nor wish to do any business with them, so we never call back.

oh, btw: the caller ID shows the number 1-647-439-8212
but for name is shows: unknown name (usually it means that they pay the phone company to block it)... and that's why I said "I think it's just another scam."

Collections agency?  Why would they call me?  I notice a few "anonymous call" on my call display since this number appeared.  They can try and try and I'll never pick up.

This number calls me about 3 times a week its a violation off my private home. If I pick up the phone it is recording

It is 3:00am in the morning, and I couldn't sleep. My fiance has not called for 5 days so I thought I would call him. Unfortunatly, a woman picked up. This number called me back right after I called.

I also got one of these. It is confirmed as a Canadian Bonded Collection Agency. I got a live person on the line and told them in terms that made it very clear to remove me from their call list and not to call here again. I have got calls from them for 6-8 months now and today was the first time I got someone on the line. Only to find out that they were looking for someone who I don't even know

Call to say that this is an important message and to call 1-866-223-4660. This has been going on now for months. I treid the 1-866 number and got a french recording saying that my call was important and to stay on the line.
I don't know how to stop them

They've been calling me for the last couple of months.  I have no outstanding bills and I just don't  understand why I get those freaking phone calls.  VERY tired of it.  Can I do something about this?

Its a collection agency, Their calling from Toronto thats why there giving a phone number starting by 1-800 because is toll free. Its for Bell canada.

They left a message on my home voice mail (in french) asking me to call them back.
I don't know them from a whole in the wall!

these fools call me eveyday.i would like to get their number so i could call them at home every day.

Called tonight, said they were 'Provincial Credit' something. Said to call 800-641-2329 during business hours...and said 'do to provincial legislation they can't reveal anymore over the telemessage'...but they didn't 'reveal' anything. So here I am trying to figure out who's trying to scam us.

When you call the 647# it is disconnected or no longer in service. Can't Bell or whomever do something about this number being hijacked?!

I have no idea who this is, i dont owe a single person money and my bills are paid on time, when i tried to call back the number was out of service also. This is getting real tiring!!

Even on my answer machine or when I pick up the phone no body speak.And I ear some folks noise behind , like in a call marketing office.Those call Start in  august.they call often and for nothing?? I"m feed up!

I got a call roughly the same time from the same number. What I have found is that it is, or was, registered to a company called Call-Net in Toronto for lease to a customer - but has since been disconnected. Call-Net was the parent company of Sprint Canada and is now owned by Rogers. What is strange is that this number is not active - there is something wrong with someone's trunks. This is not the first number to be disconnected to have called my mobile. Another one did recently that was once registered by Bell - I called and it was forwarded to engineering and they stopped.

Basically, there is a problem with a service provider's computer/switch.

I do have a impark ticket i dident pay and im not going to unless i need in order to drive so theres no need to pay unless i loss my lisence thats the only time you need to pay that b***s*** !

When i picked up it was Bell ExpressVu, calling to let me know that i was overdue on a payment, and that they where going to cut us off in 10 days.

They are so persistent. They called today. But I'll never pick up so they can waste their time.  I pay my bills on time and don't need to pay someone to pay my bills

Leaves long messages on VM
Automated system
Bond Agency
6 months that it's continued
Can't disconnect from call when the automated system.
