I get calls from these idiots frequently. They call from VOIP numbers so they are not necessarily located in the GTA. First they said I am a westjet customer and won a free trip using WestJet which is untrue. The next time I got a call (from a different 647 number) they said I won 250,000 Airmiles. This is a scam for sure. I am going to complain to the CRTC as they do not provide any means of removing my number from their trolling calls! Remember, do NOT give out your credit card number over the phone unless YOU call the number of the place you want to provide it to. These people prey on people who don't know any better.

This number is still active. I got a call with a robotic voice telling me I'd won 260 000 air miles and to "press 1" to accept them.
*sigh* I hate these.

Hi got a call from PB Direct 416-582-4244 saying I had entered a ballot in the homeshow this year and that in order to win one of five prizes I had to come and had to bring my husband to the 'drawing' at 6175 HWY 7 Unit 6 in woodbridge.

Total scam! The guy started out by saying I was gauranteed one of the prizes, then it turned into a draw with one of the prizes being a 7 day trip to Florida. I knew it was a timeshare scam..

Called just now. After explaining all the prices and start asking me about me and my wife personal information.

I google up the address and their phone number and got to this page.
Very helpful. I asked the guy to call me in an hour. I am just gonna have some fun with them.

I got a call from this # today (Mar 21, 2012) with Europe accent, saying I won a prize 'cause I filled up a ballot on Markham Fair in late 2011, I should go to pick up the prize at #6-6175 hwy#7 woodbridge, I asked them to mail the check, she said no, and guarantee I will walk out of the 90min show with one of the 5 gifts: $1500 cash, 7 days florida vacation, 48' TV, and a Toshiba laptop, and there is no need to buy anything at all...I did went to the Markham Fair and filled a ballot, so I made appt with them to attend tomorrow. Lucky me to check them out on website, I won't go then. But feel really terrible that they got all my info: name, cell#, home address, e-mail, and even occupation, I definitely didn't provide that much on a ballot!

I recieved a call last night from a man he said I had won one of the 5 prizes at the sportsman
show.I asked him if he was a scam and his reply was no the prize is for sure and no it,s not a scam.
He said I was picked from the show he was from PB Direct 6175 Hyw 7 - unit 6.woodbridge .He asked for my email.address I told him that I was having problems with it please send the information to a different one.Said he would send the information right away.He ask me to bring my partner with me.I
told i was single his response was oh we are only doing couples this week.NOW WHAT THE HELL WOULD IT MATTER .If you win a prize you Won it period.By the way I never got the email from him
like he promised to send.DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME IT'S A SCAM.

I got a call also.  My husband had attended a boat show and the guy told me my husbands name was drawn and we have a chance to win one of 5 prizes.  We had to reserve our seat at a place in woodbridge.  No kids allowed..not even my baby could sit on my lap.  He said it was for the safety of my child - whatever that means. lol
I was so close to going but I'm so glad I was shown this site.  I am not wasting my time.  It's too bad there are people out there trying to decieve us like this.

Just received a call from Premier Buyers Direct; you can tell its a scam.  Cannot imagine why the organizers of the Home Show "sell" the registration information to a company like this?  I have reported it to the anti-fraud unit.

told me they were from Premier Buyers Direct. I won one of five prizes. Pulled my name from a ballot from Good Food. Hung up.

My husband and I been harassed by this phone number and we know after reading this site that this is a scam.Thanks to all your postings here.  Is there a channel to officially report these unethical scam-mongers?

Its not a scam at all i went to the toronto pride festival i fill out a ballot they called me they told me i win a prize, from the begining its sound weird why i have to travel to woodbridge to collect my prize,
Than she explain me the company whos paying for my prize want me to know about them,so i went to wo woodbridge i spent 90mns listenin a guy talking about discount and everything i wasnt interesting to buy a membership cause i belong to the competition but they gave me a. $1000 gift card for forniture. Thx

Got the call on a stats holiday.  they sure work hard eh.  Thanks to your comments, I definitely won't be going to 6175 HWY7 unit 6 in Woodbridge.  I didn't give info and asked for more information and said that I would call back about which session I would attend.  They said they would email.  of course nothing.  They said it was from a ballot from the Taste of Lawrence which happened a few weeks ago.

Wow. Glad I googled the number before heading down to woodbridge. My mom received a call from this very number and an asian sounding lady said she'd won 1 of 5 prizes (from ballot she did indeed fill out 2 weeks back). Good thing my mom came to me first...after which I quickly looked up some info on this phone number. Thanks to your comments, I now know this is some f%&#^$ scam.

Hope no one else falls for these crooks and they'll have to eventually shut down.

Hello Puck...I received 3 calls one day from PB Direct. the guy asked me where my wife worked. where i worked. how much income we have. the guy was really persistent. I told him it was none of his business and to not call me anymore as i was not interested in time share scams. he then began yelling at me on the phone. i hung up on the idiot. 2 days later, they called again. it's annoying as i work in a building where i have to have my cell phone on vibrate and only use it for work and emergencies. they keep on calling, no matter how many times i told them not to. first i was nice to them. then the calls kept coming in. i then was rude to them. they dont care. they still call. low life's is all i can call them.

I filled out a form in May of 2010 at the Brampton Rib and Roll. this company has bugged the crap out of me calling at least 15 times per week. it's a time share scam. one caller even had the balls to yell at me on the phone. i can block 30 numbers with my home phone, plus 20 with my home phone company. they call from different numbers, so you have to block each one. the calls stop for about 4 days, and then you receive more calls from them from different numbers. this year i went to the Rib and Roll Festival i  brampton. Low and behold, there was the same table setup with a ballot box to win free prizes. did i fill out a ballot? sure did. 25 of them. each one i filled in the spaces, "Another scam from PB Direct for a time share scam" Hope they enjoyed the message!!! Don't waste your time filling out these ballots. worst thing you can ever do!!!! Another number they use is 905 225 2225. also received several calls from a number with only three digits. that being 405. nothing else!!! Beware of this scam!

I call them back!  The woman that answered was very evasive.  She would not give me any information other than the company gives awards.  Awards for what??  She had no answer.  I complained that I had received several calls from this company (PB Direct).  The response was "we have several employees with access to phones".  

Obviously, this is a scam and police should be involved.

Man with south asian accent called my cell in the evening saying I was at the Toronto home show and the filled-in ballot was drawn with my contact information.  And I was claimed a prize.

I did not go to Toronto home show in my life and I quickly realized it was a scam.

I'd like to find out how we can find out where they are getting our information from? I also attended the Toronto Sportsman Show at the MT Convention Centre. I did purchase ballots from a few organisations and I think that is where the crux of it lies. Which organisation did I donate my money to who then turned around and sold my information to?

Thanks for the comments. From my call display it looks like I missed two call from these folks in the last couple of day.  I will be prepared for then if they finally reach me when I am home.

Thanks all for sharing your experience. I just got the call too. In fact last night my hubby got it, but the line was so bad and all he heard was he won a prize at the Markham Home Show, which we did attend in mid March but he didn't fill out a ballot (I did instead) so he asked the lady to call back while he would discuss with me; around 6 the lady called and this time I picked up the phone, heard what the lady said (Indian accent?) - my hubby won a prize and he has to choose among a 42" flat screen TV, $1500 cash, laptop, etc. (her accent is hard to comprehend), guaranteed to get one prize, etc. and all he needs to do is attend a show with me - there's one at 7 tonight but I can attend tomorrow's 7pm show if the time is too tight. I asked what show it is, she said it's Premier Direct, I said I've not heard about that. She kept saying after the show we can pick a prize and no credit card number or whatever is required. I said, wow, it's too good to be true and she chuckled. She then asked if we are over 30 yrs old, and then our household income, I said I don't think I need to answer these questions, then she said since she is not asking for credit card info she needs something to record and make sure we are not lying. Then she asked me to wait while she would transfer me to the manager who would give me the code to attend the show and claim the prize. I cut the line during the wait and googled the phone number - glad that I saw the posts here. She called back 4-5 times after but I ignored it.
