number 1 647 495 9013  totally wastes my time, reads a script, I ask her to get to the point and she says government wants to give me up to 5000 in energy rebates, I say yeah right, she says really, just needs... I stop her there and say govt knows my address, just send me my check because I am busy right now.  She says needs my energy bill number. I say no govt should have it.  Then hang up.  Five mins later same number calls, I pick up........ nobody on other end.  Two mins later a new number starts calling. will let them call and call while I answer and leave phone off hook.  Costs them money each time I do this heheheh.

yea they were calling me ten times a day and not saying s*** until one day i finally got through to one and i told him that if he ever called again i would personally track him down and ensure he stops calling in person....havent herd from them since...mind you this all happened around 20 mins ago sooooo well see if that last's lmao

When I did a redial on the number I receive the message back "we're sorry your call did not go thru would you please try again".  Will agree with other callers 'they are annoying'.  With caller ID I do not answer numbers that I don't recognize.  So far today they've called twice - can quarantee a couple more tonight

received three phone calls within the hour and half from this number. One no message, 2nd my adult daughter in the house answer but because I wasnt available they would not leave a message and said they would call back! Third time I answer but because I run a home based business and answered from my business they hung up in my ear. This is annoying. You cannot call the number back as it says the number did not go thru. It comes up unknown name calling but 3x in a short period of time is harassment in my books. I am suppose to be on a do not call list but I think that has fallen by the wayside.

This number has called my home 16 times since May 27.  Usually, if I answered, I would get dead air or a computerized voice would "goodbye".  Today, someone was actually there, a woman saying that this is the first time she has called me and that she's from some Eco energy or something.  She knew my last name and my address....trolling the white pages? Said I'm not interested. So annoying!  Does this border on harassment?

I finally picked up , listened to the spiel and told them i wasn't interested. Great I thought. 30 minutes lter they call again  but its a different person.Told them  I'd been called and wasn't interested.  Since then I have been called an average of 4 times a day for the last 5 days.  
I hate them . AND I'm on the DNC list which is totally useless.

I also have had so many calls from this number and I've had to run in from outside to pick up the phone only to find that this number shows up once again, what a waste of time. I actually did get a person one time on the other end and told them to take me off of their list but that was a couple of days ago and I swear they are calling more often now. I guess we are all in the same boat wish there was a way we could get on their nerves because I would be interested in that.

They call several times a day.  Often no one there.  Today finally a person.  Ontario Eco Energy.  

Like to rip them a new a**, stop calling, the best way to get rid of these is get rid of your home phone, land lines are disappearing slowly anyway, keep the cell...

Called every day for past tree days. Will not stop calling. Will not take us aff thier list. We are on the "Do not call "list

So far this morning we have recieved 5 calls from this #.  Yesterday we had abou 3.  We have a panasonic phone I have have blocked their #.  The phone only rings once to us and then cuts out.  At least that is better than nothing.

They have called me again this morning. The woman said she is calling from "no cost assessment rebates."  I have no idea what that is, so I asked her what did she want. She then said hello, hello, and then hung up. She did have an accent that may have been Jamaican. They have called me at least 5 times within the last week.  I don't know how to stop these calls. I am dealing with my husband who is not well, and I am not interested in these harassment calls.

Been receiving these phone calls since yesterday, 3 times @ 11:50am, 4:50pm, 4:56pm  Missed all these calls, no voice mail. Just got home to realize they tried again today, 11:05am, 11:11am, 11:30am. Thank god I have a built in feature for blocking calls.

11 calls in 2 days...my answering machine is full of "hello??". They call over and over in a short amount of time.  So irritating!  

I have been getting 10-15 calls per day for the past week from this number and I, too, am on a do not call list. Totally annoying, especially with a new baby at home.

4:56pm...just received a call from this number.  They have called before.  I didn't answer...no message was left.

Clearly, we are all getting a ton of unsolicited calls.   The DNCL list is not working.  Callers are using unlisted numbers.  I have yet to hear of any service providers ever blocking any numbers, but if that were possible, then I would suggest that we all go ahead a bug our service providers to have these many numbers blocked.  
...Oh wait, if we do that, we will eventually be charged for that "service", because the providers will be OVERWHELMED with requests.  So that is a non-starter.

The only solution is legislation to punish the abusers, and technology that will rooot out these fakes and charlatans, and bring them to account.  If that does not happen soon, then the result will be similar to e-mail: 95% crap!  And who wants to pay for that?  

Time to cancel any number that is "publicly" listed.

I like you all have received several calls from this number.  I traced it to a company called Iristel located in Markham ON.  They assured me the number was one of theirs but is no longer in service.  So someone is spoofing this number to make the calls.  I talked to their security  department and they advised me to call my provider and have them put a block on it which I have done.  Now I just have to wait to see if that works.

Called me twice today, I answered on second call. Tried to tell me they were from the government and can possibly receive a benefit/grant of up to $10 000 from the government if they could come to my house and do an energy audit.
