I think this is an outbound only line that is an extension from a calling card service or major switchboard.  So for example, lets say your from korean guy, and your making a phone call using a phone card; the phone cards outbound number to wherever he dialed will show up as that number. So it can be potentially anyone whos calling you.

I have pay as you go phone and that number called twice. I don't answer it as it seems that they try to use my minutes, so that I will buy more.

received a call from this number, but nobody was talking when I answered, so I said hello a few times then hang up.

Had this numbe call earlier this week. Did not answer. Today call came from 905-241-1021, same thing! I won one of five prizes but had to come and pick for it in person. Had to be over thirty...blah blah blah.
I filled out nothing in December like this guy said (heavy indian accent). I told him I was not interested and asked him to remove me from any lists they had and to never call me again. He told me that they were not telemarketers. I repeated do not call me again and asked if he understood what that meant. he kept repeating he did not understand until i finally hung up.

Indian, or another accented chap call, very briefly, said, an Bell-Canada rep., and an free cell phone was in the mail-post.  Tried to inquire, he hung up, repeated same message twice.  So Long Jerk.     I call, Ma Bell, they said 'NO Way' for free phones, before pre-arrangement, an tele # et al.   I usually don't answer the phone ever, have caller ID, & message recorder.  This way an accident.    Siggestion change your phone #, monthly.    HOW, could 'anyone', make any money from this 'silliness', waste of all time, resources.   Send me an thousand dollars, I'd never answer the phone again, SOL guy's. + S...

I was actually looking to switch providers but he kept saying i pay 33 dollars for a package that costs 134 easily... i new he was full of s*** so i asked him where hes from... first hes from toronto then hes from ajax and finally from pickering... they trying to run a scam i think they want credit card information... be ware guys

Call came in at 5.35pm, I didn't recognize the number so I didn't answer.

I think they may be using an old ADAD dialer, or Skype as it screwed up my DSL and I had to reboot my machine.

No message left.

Call from "Canada Duct Cleaning" when I asked him to identify him self with phone number he refused!

I just got a call and they called Mr. (insert my girlfriends last name)  I asked what it was about and they said they were from the local Hydro company and something about high charges?   I told them we're renters and that we don't even have the hydro in our names.  He appologized for bothering me and hung up.  Strange.

3 days ago I received a call from this number they didn't say anything so I hung up an next minutue I received missed call from them. Next night (2 days ago)My brother from u.s called me (his phone number always appear when he calls) but this time when my bro called me the same number appeared 647-591-2018. A lil drunk and stupid I was at the moment I ignored the fact my bro called from this number.
Next day (yesterday) my friend from Germany called. From the same number 647-591-2018. I was so confused I said hey how in the he'll your calling me from same number my bro called me from? My friend didn't know what I was talking about.
LOL should have seen this coming! My fans were listening to my conversation.

Exactly same as u described,  guy called and said he is calling from home care duct cleaning..... I told the guy that I have told u guys not to call me several time.. why u call me again I also said that I have my # on do not call list... The guy on the other side (east Indian or I beleve he is Pakistani)start abusive and start swearing called me 4-5 times...I ans and right away he start swearing, I hang up and he call again.... I call the Police and as u say they said these are east Indian companies calling from Aborad...... not much they can do about it..... Thanks to do not call list....

Call came in from this number ( 647-591-2018 ) Saying that he works for Duct?Furnace cleaning company. Couldn't understand him or the name of the company because of his heavy east indian accent. Asked to be removed from calling list, said he wouldn't do that. So I told him that I have his number, do a trace find out where he was calling from and talk to him face to face, he then said he'd remove my number. Nothing but scams, thanks federal government for the "Do-Not-Call List, that was a brilliant idea. NOT!

F*C* These "people" (and I use that term very loosely) are unbelievable! They just called...AGAIN. They have a system...They call my home number and when I refuse to answer it, they IMMEDIATELY...as in "Do Not Skip A Beat", call my cell phone! My cell is UNLISTED! There is NO one that would know that number but a few friends and family! I don't care if I owe some company tens of thousands of dollars... HARRASSMENT IS ILLEGAL! So is calling more then 3 times in a 7 day time period! At least in ONTARIO it is!!!

It's from a collection agency called "Metropolitan Credit Adjusters." Recorded message asks you to call back at 1-877-788-1052, which leads you right back to one of their rude agents.

got a call... saying i entered a contest at RIBFEST for a free florida/cruise holiday. which was true... appearantly i won... but they needed my credit card info that moment else it was null!! i could hear the whole call center in the background!

I could barely make out what he was saying because of his thick African accent. First he said he was calling on behalf of CBC. Then, he said I filled out a survey at Zellers and I won a gift package. It would make more sense if he had said HBC. Anyway, at the end, he told me I'm not qualified because I don't sound like I'm 30 years old. DONT PICK UP when you get this number!! IT's a scam..
