I received the job offer and then the followup letter.  I just felt that it was too good.  He got my info from careerbuilder.  I've been job searching for two months.  I don't think that I will be hearing from him again, I told him that I would wait for him to show up in town.  I didn't accept the job.

OMG! I got the exact email, with the exact phone number. How can this individual or individuals prey on innocent people seeking unemployment? I have been in the job market for many months, and even became depressed, because of being unemployed for so long after losing my job of 15 years with my past employer. After getting this emal, I thought I finally got a break, and GOD had answered my prayers. When I got the second email of another introduction & my PA job responsibilities, & $1000 retainer, and wanting to send me a cashiers check to cash, deduct $300 and give the rest to his agent, the word scam just hit me. I asled my son, "what if this is a scam"? My son said,"I thought the same thing". So that's when I googled the name,"Kevin Braithwaithe", I came across all of your replies. Thank you to the person who posted this scam on Google, and GOD BLESS YOU! You have saved so many people like myself from this scam. I am so angry, but thankful that I decided to google this so-called person,"Kevin Braithwaithe".

I also received this email about employment, I also received another email today saying I was hired for the position and needed me to send his "agent" some information so he could send me money to start looking for office spaces. I've never spoken with anyone and am wondering if career builder knows about this?

I got the same job offer in my e-mail today and spent 3 hours looking up what a Forensic accountant is on-line and then put the cell phone number in Google and came up with this.  I'd like the Administrative Assistant job because it pays over three-thousand a month but it sounds more like he's going to get your response then call you about a cruise.  I wonder if it'll be with him!

I also received an email with the same response about a job for Administrative Assistant.  Had a weird feeling about it and always do a search on companies that I apply to first - nothing came up for the name so went on search for the number, glad I did as now I know it is some kind of scam.

This person called my cell phone pretending to be giving away Disney cruises with a company called Resort. Cruises Inrernational RCI but refused to give me information on her company and claimed that my "partner" submitted something online using MY personal information. I dont have a partner! Nor did I submit my info to any contest. She knew my address, date of birth, name, email and cell phone number!!!!! Watch out people this is a cell phone and when I asked her to remove my info from her system she said I dont have a system. Then I said pls remove my number from your call list then, she said, I dont have a list and refused to remove my information from her file. She also sounded like she was using a fake voice. Said her name was Penny. And like I said, was calling from a cell phone. No company giving away Disney Cruises is going to call you from a Cell Phone!!!!!
