they called twice today (Mother's Day AND a Sunday) but I didn't know the number so I didn't answer either time.  No message left.  I don't give out my phone number to people I don't know and I don't have a resume on Monster so this company is an obvious scam.  Stay clear!!

just got a call today for me to come to an interview....the woman didnt even give me the name of the Company so I googled their address and suite number and came across Grass roots marketing. I will be interviewed by Nick or Kristen the woman said and also mentioned it was entry level, if I was looking for full or part time-and to bring my resume and references. Not sure why they would need me to bring a copy of my resume when I thought they printed it out....and she also mentioned it was from the Monster website. Not sure if I really want to go after reading everyones messages though.....dont want to waste my time doing something that I am not interested in. I do not do door to door sales....no way

After posting on Monster.ca I got a call from this number and did a quick phone interview. I was ask by "John" to come in for a face to face interview (with susie) for a management position. I was told their marketing firm, under the name of "Acquired Solutions" was a fundraising firm; Full Time Hours, Mon thru Friday, no weekends. I was even given a web address to look up: acquiredsolutions.com
Well I researched the best I could, but found the website vague and completely disfunctional. That is when I googled the telephone number and found this site. I became skeptical but vowed to keep an open mind.

The day of the interview I was a little shocked to see the office. 243 Queen W, 2nd Floor. Seemed really nice, loft like, cool vibe... but it was eery how all the employees there looked MISERABLE! I sat down with Susie. Susie didn't really know who I was, or how I had heard about this job. "You called me" was my response. Within minutes I was told the position I was interviewing for was a door to door canvassing job. Literally going from house to house, door to door knocking and asking for money. I declined the job.

In retrospect I should have asked how much I would get paid so that I could pass the info to you all, but as I already felt duped into making the trek there, I cut my loses and left. No hard feelings to Acquired Solutions, but I wish they had just been upfront about the job they wanted me to do.

This number is a call back, from a marketing company, you're likely to get a call from these guys if you're on monster.ca.
In my experience these kind of 'marketing' firms are indeed some complex pyramid scheme, you'll be advertising either door to door or on the streets, for some form of charity, or other subscription service.
It's low-paying(commission-based), hard work, with a small opportunity for advancement, but the opportunity is indeed there for those willing to work hard and stick to it. Me, I quit after about a week.

How come somebody take your contact at Monsters website? I just register again at Monters website, and I thought my info should be confidential and only "real" companies or "legit" companies that really understand my field should call me. Sharon and Cristian called and do not identified theirselvies proporly. Also, the call shows Ontario HR!!!! They also said the company is non-profit organization!!!! Very strange call...

I just had an interview with them (East Liberty Marketing). They claimed I applied for the job through Kijiji but I couldn't find the ad they posted so had no idea what position it was for and when I sent them an e-mail to ask they never replied. But I went to the interview anyway. They didn't even ask my name when I walked in, they just sat down and asked for my resume. And when I asked what a typical day in the position would involve the guy kinda dodged the question so I kept pressing him. Seems like door to door commission based work. It might be legit for legit companies but the way they get people in there is not right. If you're not after that kind of work then do not bother.

I just had an interview today. Pretty small office but they are legit. My interviewer told us that they have big time clients like Telus and Sunnybrook hospital. They have 10 branches in Canada and some clients overseas. I was pretty skeptical about going but i went, i now i regret not reading up on their website cause i really had no clue that this is a legit marketing firm. The office kinda looks like an old New York style loft (its pretty small). Only thing she said that turned me away is hours are 1pm-9pm Mon-Fri and their are no part-time opportunities. At the end of the int i asked her the hourly wage. She kinda nudged away from the question and didn't give me a straight answer. She did say that this is a lot of money for student and any student would be satisfied. She said you get paid on a base price + commission + bonuses. Seems like they are hiring mostly students. Anyways she said she may call me for a 2nd int but I have a feeling i didn't get it because I didn't read up on the company due to their crap website and my skepticism on the legitimacy of their company.

I have an interview with them tomorrow and i'm kinda nervous because there website looks like it's not a real company and the information in it is kind of confusing almost like you don't really understand what there saying. They say they represent companies with customer service etc but, it's like okay which companys then? Kind of nervous to go.. I researched them for reviews and found this... Which scares me.

I got a call today too around 10 AM but I could not pick up and they did not leave a message either.
Their phone is on answering now and says that I reached "Ontario Human Resources".
I'm not sure if I should leave a message and tell them to call me back - especially if they're that fishy!!!

I also got these calls, first, 3 days ago, no voice mail msges, so i ignored them, then today, she left me a message, i called back, and it was that easy for her to  book me for an interview, however, she didn't know what was my posted resume about?and didn't even know what did i apply for in monster website. so was so rushed when talking as she was programmed to say this every time she talks with any one, for me it's totally fishy.  i am not going

i just got a call from them too, she rushed the name of the company that i didn't hear it. the lady on the phone said we have a number of openings from entry level to management. she had asked me if i wanted to work full part or part time and said if i would also be interested in sales and marketing. she said that 'Kristen' will be interviewing you and will discuss which position I would be a better fit for. So, i asked the name of the company again, but i don't' feel sure if I should go or not. She did say the interview will be held on the 2nd floor suite 212. Any feedback guys would be much appreciated.

www.eastlibertymarketing.com Website doesn't say much. Googled the company, can't find much info on them either, although apparently there was one in Hamilton as well (don't know if it still exists)

Googled the address 99 Atlantic Ave Suite 212, a few other businesses used to be in that same exact suite as well. Hmm.

Probably a new company, I got a call an hour ago. Sounds a little fishy. She stated that "Kirsten" found my resume on Monster and I asked her what the position was, and she wasn't able to tell me, only stating that 'when' I go in for an interview we'll be able to discuss what types of positions are available. Already sounds suspicious seeing as they don't even know what they want to hire you for. On top of that she did seem a little rushed.
