BEWARE!!!  My husband and I filled out a ballot at a harbour front show and received a call from these guys saying we won one of five prizes. Only this time their name was cachet  partners group inc. they sent us an email with the following content:You are invited on: Thursday May 29th 2014 at 7:00 pm

We are thrilled to advise you that you have been selected as FINALISTS for our Show and Draw. Each selected finalist is GUARANTEED to receive one of the five high valued prizes. Our Finalists Show and Draw is NOT available to the general public and is for selected finalists ONLY! The entire SHOW and DRAW will take approximately 90 minutes in total, so once again CONGRATULATIONS!

We thought let's check out how legit this is and we went. 90 mins was turned into 3 hours. They want you to buy a membership to receive discounts for mortgages, furniture anything you can think of ..to the tune of $8,000. When we wouldn't budge they kept decreasing the prize to 2500. When that didn't work they finally took us to another room to draw a 2 night getaway that has so many restrictions it's useless. Plus I've since gone online and everyone wins the damn getaway . Since I said I needed to check them out before giving them any cent... They have sinc been calling me from different numbers... This number was tonight's. Don't waste your time or money.

These guys called me twice saying I filled out a ballot at the international womans show and then 15 mins later another company called saying I also won a prize and asked a bunch of personal questions about my marital status ect. Most def data collectors and a scam. Wanted me to go last minute to a presentation in order to win a prize from a draw even though my name was chosen from a draw to begin with. Sounds sketchy. When I started asking questions the woman got all weird. Don't pay any money or give personal info out or you get spammed.

I received a call from this number as well. They mentioned that I won a prize and they would email me a claim number once I had made a reservation to go to the Quality Suites in Mississauga at 7pm on a couple of chosen dates to pick up my prize which would be selected by hand.
Private questions were asked, such as 'are you a home owner' 'are you under age 35' 'are you single or married' 'do you have a boyfriend' 'what do you do for a living' and more private questions like this followed.
I promptly told the girl on the phone I didn't trust their company and needed some emailed information, which was not sent. She said that the company name was Cachet, and they were a company that (on the first call said they sold insurance and stuff for homes) (on the second call said that they were a wholesale company selling appliances and warehouse items and I was under no financial obligation in order to claim my prize).
Furthermore, after I said email me information, and left the phone call after enduring 14 minutes of chatter, I said firmly email me the information and if I feel comfortable I will call you back and have a good night and hung up politely.
Then I received a phone number from their phone line (which I can't call back ... here's the number 647-854-3650) from this girl who whispered 'you stupid bi***, you f****ng stupid bi***' and then hung up the phone on me.
I called back their main line which accepts calls (647-702-7032).

THESE GUYS ARE DATA COLLECTORS. DON'T ANSWER THEM.

I have a really good memory and want to share my experience of how I came to this site.  I received a call from an unknown number at 6pm. Similar stories as above. They said my name was drawn from a ballot I entered at an event (think I heard Ribfest?). I recall filling something out in the summer perhaps. Anyway, I listened to hear it out as I had the time.  Was told I was guaranteed to win 1 of 5 prizes, which included 17" Toshiba Laptop, 42" Flat Screen LCD TV, $1500 in Cash, 7 days in Florida, $1000 your choice in furniture.  They wanted to verify my postal code, they read it to me and I said it was mine (may have been an old one?).  Then they needed my name, surprised they wouldn't have had it.  I said my name. They wanted to know if my household had over $50k income. I said sure, yes. Then they needed a partner's name to join. And a 2nd phone number to be reached at.  And then my email address.  Was now REALLY surprised they wouldn't have already had all this from the ballot.  I have an email address I use for newsletters coupons and junk so I provided that. They said a confirmation email would be sent along with my Winning Claim # just in case I didn't believe what they were telling me.  They said it included a cold buffet dinner, and I had to sit through a 90min presentation to sell me something; they also mentioned there would be absolutely no obligation to sign-up or buy anything. I said great.  I asked what food would be provided but they didn't have specifics.  I asked whether each of the 5 prizes had an equal chance of being won, and couldn't get a concrete answer.  I then had to speak to a manager to confirm I understood everything the person told me about the event.  I confirmed and asked the question of the 5 prizes again.  This person told me that someone won $1500 the other day, but that there was more chances to win the Florida trip.  I didn't like my chances at winning cash or a laptop or TV, which were what I wanted.  I recall winning a Florida trip in the past but it had too many restrictions and I had to actually pay a decent amount of money to go the trip...how is that winning a free trip?  I also asked if my gift could be shipped to me but they said no I had to do the draw and pick it up myself.  Oh, and this had to be done the next evening. I was free anyway and continued the conversation.

A few hours later, I got the confirmation email.... It said:

Awards Centre: 6175 Hwy 7, Unit 6, Woodbridge ON L4H 0P6

The whole look-and-feel of the email and 2 spelling mistakes of "calendar" and "qualify" in the last paragraph made me question the fun of attending to just check it out and potentially win a prize of my liking.  I then proceeded to search online for others experiences.  Came across a number of listings similar to this one. The actual website I was given didn't seem real or legit either: http://www.pbcdiscounts.com

The next day I was called again to confirm I would attend and to be given my table number. The number wasn't blocked this time - it was from 905-264-2890.  I was in a meeting and couldn't answer, but a voicemail was left.  They wanted to confirm I was attending tonight, and to call back 647-702-7032.  When I searched online, I came across this thread.

Another similar thread which helped me steer away: http://800notes.com/Phone.aspx/1-905-258-9204
I then called them back to say I couldn't attend.

Thank you, people of the free internet who share experiences.

I just wonder though, has anyone actually gone and won the cash, or laptop, or TV?

I got a call from this phone number (647-702-7032) and I was told that I won a prize because I filled out a ballot in National Home show. One of the following prizes. I contacted them again and they were very fishy in their responses. Nobody knew where I won the prize,...etc. It's scam. Don't believe them if they say you won a prize or something and come for a free buffet dinner to get your prize.

List of prizes:
1 - 42" TV
or 2 - $1000 cash
or 3 - $1000 furniture
or 4 - 17" Toshiba laptop
or 5 - 7 days vacation for two.

It's a scam.  They try to pull you in with a "prize" vacation.  The manager is Anthony Donato. Googled his name and apparently he has been in the scamming business in the area for years!! Hang up! Asking the not to call doesn't work!!!
