I was scammed by this individual on CHRISTMAS EVE and CHRISTMAS DAY.  He is a heartless piece of s***.  I hope he lives the rest of his days behind bars and gets what is coming to him.

Okay, sounds familiar, on May the 9, I emailed a ticket ad about 4 vip tickets, the man sounded very genuine, had a latin American accent, which can sound like an Italian accent  too. He said he was selling 4 vip tickets because he had to go to a wedding with his family and could no longer go. Said he would transfer tickets through ticketmaster...and that I needed to open a ticketmaster account so I did! I called ticketmaster and asked if transfers were legit...they said he could not do a transfer if they were not. So I went ahead and did a cibc etransfer for a large sum of money. He guided me through the process...I transferred money to Ticket Hub inc. at ticketmaster@null.net. He said I would receive an email form them within 10 min and I did. They wanted my address and said that the package would be shipped to me by ups with in 5 business days. Turns out the tickets were not purchased from ticketmaster after all and so they would not show up in my account. They originally told me that they would not show up in my account because they were vip tickets, that needed to be shipped in a package. I waited no package arrived, I kept emailing them and a different person would email me back assuring me that it was on its way. I contacted the guy who sold me the tickets and he said he would call them, he told me that they were sending me a tracking number, they said they were waiting for it to be uploaded, several days went by and no tracking number and no tickets. I contacted the guy again he said he was going down to see what was going on he acted upset, so he told me when he went he saw my tickets they were not shipped, they were waiting for the admission passes, someone form the "shipping department" emailed me apologizing and said they would send me a 100 dollar certificate for home sense because of the delay. He said he now had my tickets and was mailing them the following day. He never did! I called the guy again and he said he was taking time off work to go down and get my tickets and a refund. He said he would sent the tickets and a certified check by ups and that I would not have to pay him until my daughter was safely in the venu! At this point, it was difficult to believe anything that was happening...I tried to call him when he was in the office but he said he could not pick up the phone, when I questioned weather he was really there, he got offended. I asked when he would be shipping me my stuff he said today or tomorrow. I tried to text and call him today which is the day he is suppose to ship stuff and he has not responded at all which is weird because up till now he answered my texts and calls with in minutes.  Its been 16 days since I ordered the tickets, So what do you think scammed or not?

He has just been charged in Calgary with 12 counts of fraud and 12 counts of theft under $5000!!! Google Giancarlo Iandoli and you will see the news reports.

NOW CALL YOUR LOCAL POLICE DEPARTMENT AND FOLLOW UP ON YOUR ORIGINAL REPORT! PASS THIS INFO IN TO THEM SO HE CAN BE CHARGED IN YOUR PROVINCE TOO!!!

I was scammed by Giancarlo almost 1 year ago for thousands of dollars. Glad to see hes going to court for it in Calgary soon. Is it possible to sue him? Karma always wins.

Gaincarlo Iandoli has just been charged with fraud and theft.  Anyone out there want to tell us your story about being scammed?  It would be great to put a human face on this story about dollars and numbers.  Could be a good warning for people in the future.  Okay, that's my sales pitch! His REAL name is Giancarlo Iandoli. His life revolves around deciving people. Absolutely disgusting. He also uses prepaid phones to scam people.

It's a condo, not a house. Look it up online.  I travel with my job a ton...I will be checking it out on my travels in the near future.

I am in agreement with Trevor, Chloe you're a little too defensive for someone who has been scammed. In any event the Toronto Police have this address and phone number.

I would suggest that anyone who has been scammed by this individual, or anyone else, should report it to your local police.  More importantly, you should also report it online through the Toronto Crime Stoppers website.  You can provide all the details.  I have done this and it has been quite effective.

This is not a civil dispute.  It is fraud! It is your duty as a citizen of this country to report a crime! If you care that this has happened to you and could happen to others, then you need to report the crime.

No offence Chloe, but the tone of your posts, and misuse of the word 'their' are similar to Ryan's (Giancarlo, Christian Russo, whatever). Very suspicious how you randomly show up and try to convince everyone that contacting police regarding this matter is a waste of time. It definitely is not. When you are scammed sitting back and accepting it is the last thing you do.

Their are tons of people with that last name....It is not a condo block, it's a house, im from toronto!  Yes, i was screwed by him a while ago. Who knows who you were speaking to? I've tried everything in my power, my aunt works for the police & i was told that it was a civil dispute... DO NOT SEND MONEY TO SOMEONE YOU DON'T KNOW. Police won't do s***, according to them it's a civil matter. Not a criminal matter, if you are stupid enough to send money to someone you don't know, than that's your problem. i learned the hard way, just need to move on. Police don't help. Trust me im from Toronto i have tried everything....

Exact same thing happened to my daughter 2 days ago. Sent $660.00 via Moneygram to Giancarlo Iandoli. He was using phone # 647-721-0971. She was purchasing 2 weekend passes to a concert. No tickets. Reported to the police. He needs to show ID to pick up the cash so I don't understand how the police can't catch him. I've searched him on the Internet and believe he is in Scarborough or Toronto. A website shows him on an under 11 soccer team in 1999. Unless that is a scam too he would be around 23 years old now. He claimed to be with Stub Hub.  First said his name was Ryan but his partner Giancarlo Iandoli was the one who was collecting the money.  My daughter is 18 and saved all her money for this! Tough lesson for her.

I'm so upset I didn't see this before last night. A guy named "Ryan" replied to our Kijiji ad regarding Justin Bieber tickets in Calgary. He said he's a ticket broker from Toronto and had floor tickets for us. He sounded really professional at first, but kept getting more pushy. He asked us to get Visa giftcards from Shoppers Drug Mart to pay for the tickets ($500 for 4). When we got them, it turned out they were "defective", because we couldn't register them online... we went back to get more at his assistance, but astonishingly, they were defective as well. We are suppose to be getting reimbursed from Visa, but still not sure if "Ryan" got his money or not. He got really angry at us and texted us threats. He has our address, so we are quite scared... but it sounds like this is just his game. He added my friend on facebook by the name of "Christian Russo". So creepy!!! I hope this scum bag is caught. So sad to read everyone's stories.

I just read these all yesterday.... after the fact of sending this low life 1000.00 dollars. i put an add on kijiji looking for 4 tickets. he replied with the same email everyone has stated above. on the phone he said his name was "john"but its obvious his name changes quite frequently. and his phone number in my case was 416-908-1710, still a toronto number. i had two people back out on me so i changed my "order" to 2 tickets. so i sent him 310 in his cibc account. then waited 2 days for my tickets or for him to actually respond to me. then he tells me the company wont sell me 2 tickets cause i originally wanted 4 so he said i hd to put another 330 in his account. so i did. then he tells me they are just gunna refund me my money cause of the issues that had gone on and id get 100.00 credit with ticketmaster. then mony was "in" the wrong acct. then he said he needed another 1000 from me and then they could put 2000 in my acct...... im not that stupid. told him i was done. and havent heard from him in 2 days now. but when he wanted the 1000 extra bux from me he got very aggressive!!!!! said he was gunna sue me cause it was my fault the money went into the wrong acct and that he was gunna lose his ticket licence. he said alot of very rude things, infact yelling at me.... pretty much busted his "professionalim" right there. this man has no heart. i will be soooo happy when he is caught. its only a matter of time. i took it to the cops yest and also have an investigator digging into it finding what ever he can. and they said toronto police are looking into it and this may be the ticket to finding this guy. and the more people that report it the better!! would be amazing if we all saw some money back but personally id just love to see this guy where he belongs.he is defenitly good at what he does, tricks you to believe every word,makes himself seem like a friend, and can pretty much cover his a** with every doubtful question. this is the info i have on him.

The EXACT same scenerio happend to me a few days ago where I posted a wanted add on kijiji for concert tickets. Made the payment through Western Union to the receiver named CHRISTIAN RUSSO. He then told me Ticketmaster rejected my payment and refunded me $1000. He then said I must redo the payment a second time. I didn't have the money so I did not procede to do so. And now I am being told I will get a refund ( which i highly doubt). He said the money is with "Payments", but said it wasn't my business when I asked what company. BTW, I beleive it is Giancarlo Iandoli, with an I not an L. He is Italian, and the person I spoke with on the phone had an Italian accent. I believe his hometown may be Scarborough, Ontario. It was also stated above that someones money was cashed in Scarborough, funny how Giancarlo Iandoli played for the Ontario Soccer team in Scarborough in 1999.  My money was cashed immediately in Toronto as he was guiding me on the phone! Hope this helps everyone!

He said it didnt go through and so we did another one through money mart. He said he was gonna refund our money and we would get the tickets. No refund. No tickets.
