ICT Group is a boiler room telemarketing agency that sell scams from the USA using call centers worldwide because it's too expensive to pay north americans to flog crap over a phone.

If you are on the DNC list it does not matter anymore.  Your government does not care a wit about what you want.

It never did.

You pay government fools to do nothing all day.
Lie to your face.
Rob you  blind with taxes
Print money to the point a loaf of bread is 4 bucks.
They take your peace of mind and privacy away.

All so the governments of the world can flog some piece of crap timeshare from a Hong Kong call center.

You are all being lied to.

I've been talking to these guys from Liberty International Financial Group in Markham, ON. The guy who called is Larry Sai and then I talked to a financial advisor Jason Woods. Jason told me the more cards you have, the more burden you have. They seem to want to negociate interest rates with banks on my behalf for a fee of $690. I have been told by 2 different banks that I can and of course I have always been doing this myself. Since it is the banks that regulate interest rates, how can these 2 clowns guarantee a 3.9 rate for the next 10 years. I understand that some people are not good at negociating rates but how can you trust a so called business like this one to do it for you. I'm just afraid of what they will wind up doing with the banking and identity information they have in their possession. They definitely do not sound professional and there is no 1-800 line. Their phone # is 1-416-628-4551 and I called on Saturday and at 5:30 PM. All I got was a recording for sales, customer service or refunds.

Received a call from the same outfit but from 905 345-6789.  Same deal.  Working for Visa and Master Card to lower my interest rate.  Asked for Company name and was told Liberty Internation Financial Group, Markham, ON.  Asked him to send all information via mail.  Would do so if I "verified" some information regarding my credit card.  Nice try.

To Alistair and Barbara - Nice try also.

I got the same call last week....and i declined because i already do have a very low interest rate....but what i could gather from the call was that it was done form a call center....and you should know that since most call centers dont actually call you through a phone but rather via internet through an automated dialer their numbers are bound to come as "spoof" number...nothing unusual about that....and as for giving CC info over the phone....well the only thing there is too say about is that telemarketing is something that has been going on for decades in countries like USA and UK people always buys things over the phone....so i dont see whats so shocking about that...

I live in England , I got a call from a London number 0203 3558892 a man with a faint accent. Claimed he was from a company called Liberty International Financial Group, said they could lower my interest rate to 3.9% by talking to my creditcard company on my behalf.

I asked why should my lender do that just because he asked them to. He talked nonsense until I told him he was wasting my time. I was passed to someone else who gave me some speil about their close ties to lenders who would negotiate rather than lose my custom.

I was passed back to the first guy who said his name was Chris Wood. He confirmed my name and address then asked for the 7 digits on the back of my card. I said no, told him he was crazy and hung up.

He rang back, I told him i'd found out his company was a scam and not to call me again.

I received the same call last night from a guy who has a very heavy accent. Whenever I get a call from a 1-416 # I sometimes answered just in case the call is coming from a family member who lives in Europe. Once I answered he asked to speak to Mr or Mrs ****, that's when I knew it has something to do with "telemarketers". I pretended I was not Mrs... both were not in, he ignored that info and he kept talking and told me directly he knows I have MC and Visa and would like to decrease the interest rate. I asked how he got that information and he said MC and Visa gave them our info and wants us to save money. He said it will only take a minute to process. HE told me my exact address and tel # number. (WHAT A NERVE!   WHERE THE HELL THEY GET THIS EXACT INFO). So I told him that "why would MC and Visa give them this info and wants to decrease interest rate when they can benefit with people who carry huge balances?" I also told him "I think you're a scam because you didn't even bother to identify your name or the company name you represent before bombarding me to provide you with my personal info. If I want to negotiate a lower interest rate, I will speak directly with my bank as I have a very good relationship with them" I asked what company he represent and he said Liberty Financial. I told him to delete our tel # in their call list and never to bother me again or I will report them to the proper authority. He said I was making abig mistake but I did not bother to hear what he wants to say and I hung-up.

I told this incident to my husband and he told me to google the company and asked them to remove our information from their data. I found this site instead and glad I did not get scammed last night....

Liberty International Financial Group is a real SCAM. I receive a call from an Indian accent named KEVIN, a financial officer and said he has a promotion for me to lower my interest rate to  3.9% to my existing card.  This is impossible, how come a credit card can be lowered to 3.9% int. rate for a lifetime, I did not make a deal with him, instead I called and inquired to my credit card customer service about this company and they said there is no such thing as a lowered int 3.9% and they said that this is absolutely a SCAM...

Received a call this morning Apr 28/10 from a Nick Holmes 905-595-4511 offerring the same thing if we provided credit card and security code numbers. My wife suspected this was bogus and pressed for a lot of details. In short folks, they are still out there using the Liberty International Financial Group name with an address of 15 Allstate Parkway in Markham.

Be careful with your information.

Same info for me. Was called by them, could really use the low interest rate so I went along with the info. I told them I would not give out any info about my cards. They gave me a number to call them back on to verify they were legit. Called back and listened to them some more. They wanted to change 688.95 to my card and guaranteed me a $2500.00 savings over the next couple of months or they will refund the money. Even though they spoke poor English they were very convincing. My card wont take the charge as it was close to it's limit so I thought it would be safe to give them the info and check them out. Did all the research everyone else on this site did and it seems they are a scam. Few people said it worked but they put very little info about it and I think they may just be the scammers themselves. I contacted the RCMP and filed a phonebusters case. RCMP are looking into it but have not got back to me with any info as of yet.
Sure wish it was a legit deal.

Just got a call from 14160012345 and 9055954511 Liberty International Financal Group ot of Markham Ont. Heavy accented man asking for personal info and credit info. Unfortunatly I gave him personal info and Mastercard info. After my very smart wife advised me not to give anymore info. I hung up and called the BBB and Mastercard. I was told there is no company called Liberty International. Mastercard told me there is a phone scam going around. I will be issued a new card but unfortunaly they have my personal info. Be aware and do not give them a second of your time. It is a scam.

got a call this am  from someone with a very heavy east indian accent  saying they were calling for liberty financial Markham, tells me they can give me 3% interest on my Mastercard, he and two other guys  talked for awhile sounded very convincing, i gave a  little info , then thought i was making a mistake, said i would think about it & call them back.about four hours later i get a call from a different #, by the way the first calll was from 14160012345  second from 18018641000 it was one of the guys i had talked to the first time. he talked some more  and finally  i broke down and gave him the information he wanted, afterwards i didn't feel right about it so i did some  research on the internet  now needless to say i feel like a stupid old woman, and i don't know how to undo what i did. Now they are  going to charge me $688.95  and promised  they will save me  $2,500.00 in the first year . I am suppose to get a package with all the info  in a week or so.   could it be they are legit.

Mr. Chris,
If you don't have a clear picture of what you are trying to prove please don't try. You think you are too smart, and have the right to make comments on other people. If you think you are too smart then why did you answer the call in the first place? Get a life and try to get busy with something productive.

Take care
