They just called my cell number. Didn't answer. This is the first (and hopefully last) call from these idiots.

My wife and i went to presentation had the dinner and then st through. I told them no and they became rude and offered free travel. I was foolish enough to send in cheque for  19.99 and two months later never got anything. I will gladly join in any prosecution.

I received a call from Mr. Wayne Wilson 1-877-318-5095.  He said I had won a free trip to Las Vegas with air and two nights accomodation at a major hotel on the strip (Bellagio, MGM Grand were expressly mentioned).  No strings attached and completely unrestricted.  More specifically he said the trip could be taken at any time within the year.  To obtain it my wife and I were required to attend a presentation in Woodbridge at 218 Chrislea Rd.  When we got there it was on the second floor.  I beleive the name on the wall was Travel Suite. He did not identify the travel group on the phone. No names were mentioned in the presentation.  

Four people attempted to sell us a life-time membership for about $18,000.  They could provide financingy (at 21.1% interest). We declined.

We received vouchers for the free trips.

The "free trip" that induced us to attend involves paying a $19.95 processing fee within 1 month to 1672853 Ontario Inc. by cheque or money order.  It must be paid by mail.  Curiously, registered mail is not accepted. The "offer" is stated to be "valid for 1 year from date of issue.  There are other terms.  You must leave from an airport in the United States.  All travel requires 90 day booking notice.  Recipient is responsible for all taxes (usually the largest part of a ticket).  The user is also subject to any additional charges levied by the airline or travel service provider.  It is subject to other discretionary restrictions.

We also received a voucher for trips to Tremblant or shorter trips to such destinations as Niagara Falls.  It was stated to be without restriction; how that voucher also requires a registration or processing fee and the trip is subject to many restrictions and surcharges.

I am happy to be a witness in any prosecution.

They phone all the time.  It is The Travel Vacation Shop at 216 Chrislea Road in Woodbridge. I finally picked up after ignoring them for months.  I got a long explanation that I had won a free trip...blah, blah blah.  I went to their presentation to check them out, knowing full well that it was a scam.  To make a very long story short, they are being investigated by TICO, whom they, over and over again say they are affliated with.  They ARE NOT an affliate of TICO. Hopefully, we can shut these bottom feeders out.  They are a scam.

Well I went to the speal today and talk about a lot of bs.  They wanted a deposit of $500 and then $20,000.  Had a great lunch though, 4 people tried to convince me into joining and kept bringing the price down.  Told them I wouldn't spend that amount of money in total to travel where I want to go.  When I wouldn't budge, they all of sudden became very rude, took me to a room with closed doors and litterly through 2 papers at me and quickly told me to mail a cheque for $14 to receive my flight and hotel to Las Vegas and another $14 for another hotel accomadations.  Has anyone gone that far of sending the money and seeing what they get?

Thank you folks for adding your piece here.  Here is mine! I was going to attend their meeting on Sunday, but now it's confirmed that I am not going to do so. It sounded too good to be true. This lady called Barbara (she could be using an alias) was setting up this meeting in Woodbridge.  The call display # was 416-916-3302 and the # she gave me was 416-224-1767.  The company displayed was 1673853 Ontario Inc.

I told this lady that my husband and I don't believe in these things and that if I should go and I am pressured into any sales that I will walk out of there.  She sounded extremely nice but that's good marketing....touching on the country I'm from and said she went there and it's a nice place, and the whole game she was playing.  

Anyway she said I won a pair of tickets to Las Vegas and the whole bit about a nice meal at the  meeting etc.  They sound like it's VIP treatment you will be getting.  I asked if the tickets are transferable and she said yes.  I thought I would give it to my son if this was all authentic.  Well...little did she know that I would be checking for reviews on the internet.  She said the company's name is TVS (I asked what does it mean..she said it's stands for Total Vacations Savings).  They seem to confuse themselves because I read at the top that they called it Total Vacation Store.

Yea -- they called me too -- saying that I had entered for a draw and I won... hmm... sounds too good to be true.

I just got a call from theese people I ignored it becasue I had never had to deal with telemarketers. If you dont answer, they'll leave you alone!

Got a call from a woman who said that she was doing a survey on vacations and she was not selling anything, she seemed pleasant and straight to the point, so I answered her questions (idot that I am)  ...a week later I get a call from TVS Canada (1673853 Ontario), Bev was trying to get me to go to a free buffet dinner in Woodbridge.  If we attended and listened to their promotion garbage we would win a vacation to Aruba etc etc.I told her I was not interested in any "time sharing" scams, she told me it wasn't.  She got very persistant about setting a date for when I would attend....Asked her for this company's web site and she said www. TVS Canada.com- no such web site!!  Goggled 1673853 Ontario Inc. and found all sorts of "interesting" stuff about this scam.  Thanks to this 800Notes web site I did not waste my time. I have now block their number 416-848-4956

The person just called and asked if we have been on vacation, will be going on vacation and what my first initial stands for... Should this be reported?  She got off the phone too quickly for me to add, don't call me back, please.

Got a call today from the 647-722-6187 number.  No message left.  I've subscribed to the blocked number for telemarketers, but obviously this isn't working.  Makes me sick to think that they could be hooking people in on the pretense of a vacation, etc.  My granny's 86 years old, spry as all get out....and what if they pull something like this on someone like her?  She's too fly for it, but others may not be!

I got the same call just a few minutes ago.  I got the same shpell as "too good to be true", a trip to Aruba or $2500 dollars at Yorkdale.  I should show up with 4 of my biggest friends and intimidate them until I walk out of their with my $2500 bucks for Yorkdale.  I'm sure I can get 4 guys to come with me to claim $500 each.

I think I'm onto something.  Intimidate the intimidator.  Oh, bring a cop friend too....

I experienced the same as Angry. They also kept pushing us to buy their products. They asked me to make the cheque $14 to this Ontario marketing company. If they really wanted to give the free gift, they whould have given it right then.

This is scam company we saw right through from the beginning. We enjoyed the meal. I think we all should report this thing to the police. This company is not ligitimate company, should be destroyed.

I keep getting calls from these people, too.  Never answer.  I noticed that the company (1678353 Ontario Inc.) has an address listed online.. I think it's an office building... Is it worth sending all our junk mail in an effort to annoy them back? Surely there's something...

I answered the same travel survey last week and just got a call from a Lady named Lynne very weird lady. She said i had won a prize and to come to 216 Chrislea Rd ( Toronto) for a free buffet dinner and i was guranteed 1-5 prizes. I asked her " what's the catch?" she said none only thing the company wants is an hour of my time. She gave me a toll free # 1-866-280-2097 in case i get lost and need directions. I called the toll free # and a guy from The vacation store answered i told him i got the wrong # and i swear not even 5 minutes later they called me back!!!! i did not anwere the phone. What a bunch of scammers. They are trying to lure people with a free dinner and a prize in order to scam them into a signing up for a vacation package membership. Don't fall for this S@#$!.

I received a call last week and answered some Questions about Vacations, I usually hang up the call but the lady was really nice and only asked me a few questions. Than i recieved a call today from # 416-848-4956 (1673853 Ontario). A lady named Lynne called claiming she was calling from The vacation store and about the survey i did last week. She told me the company was holding a free Buffet dinner and i was guranteed 1 of 5 prizes, A trip to Aruba, a $2500 gift certificate to yorkdale mall or a $2500 in cash and some other prizes i don't really remember. It seemed to good to be true so i asked her " whats the catch? she said there is no catch and said the only thing the company asks is for my time. Right! my time to listen to a Sales pitch about vacations. No thanks! My time is far too precious to waste on BS. I have heard from friends about this Timeshare Crap. If it sounds too good to be true it most likely is!!!

I've been getting calls from this number at least once a day. I have had an unlisted number since Sept 08 for personal reason. They just started calling in the past few weeks. I always google a phone number before I reply. Lo and behold, don't I find this one! I do believe that they are are purchasing old contact lists. I never fill out any contests. It's enough that I get spam and for that I use my hotmail. Recommending you do the same. Invest in call display, answering machine and google the number before you answer. Besides, if it's an emergency, they will leave a message.

My wife and I went to this same office in Woodbridge, but after we filled out the application in the hallway they told us that we were the "instant winners" and that we just have to pick up our cercificate. The thing is that  they did not like out total income in the application, and they did not want  to loose their time on us. The certificate is the same as Angry described. Just avoid them people!!!!

i also went to the presentation but they only got to 4 different people trying to con me.  who in their right mind would hand over $2000, and commit to another $20,000.? i looked up the free accomodation we "won" on out way out, and it's a very low budget hotel in cancun.  what i would like to know is if we were to mail out our $12 cheque, would we actually see the cancun gift sent back to us?

This is a classical example of the con company. They managed to convince us (my wife and I) to come over to their office in Woodbridge. It was our biggest mistake. First it was this stupid presentation to sell their ?product? which is vacation package. When we explained that this is not for us, they send 6 (six) people one after another pushing on us hard and every time reducing the price. After all they gave us the one poorly printed page with instructions to send them a check $12 after which we?ll receive the actual travel certificate. The address was: ?1673853 Ontario Inc?.  My strong advice: NEVER DEAL WITH THIS PEOPLE. You will be fooled and humiliated. I?m seriously consider the option reporting to police.

Same old, same old here too, this company 1673853 Ontario calls everyday atleast twice, but never any VMs. Has anyone bothered answering? Will they ever leave us alone!
