Global Credit, a Collection Agency used by Rogers Communications . No matter if you tell them you are not the person they are calling . THEY WILL CALL !
It will stop for a month or two - then they will start calling again and again .
They are so annoying - They are calling me for three years !!!!!
Three options you have :
1. Disregard or block their number on the phone ( you will get a bunch of robot generated voice messages).
2.Call them back or tell them you are not the person they are calling for ( they will say "we will remove you from the list") - THEY WILL CALL AGAIN IN A MONTH OR SO !
3.You can call them and ask for supervisor ( it will take you to the voice answering machine where you leave your message) - Supervisor will not call you back or resolve anything .
YOUR ONLY OPTION is to call your phone provider to change your phone number . You are going to be lucky if they give you new number that did not belong someone who is on the list of some collection agency.

It's Global Credit, a Collection Agency used by Rogers Communications Inc.  They are located in Markham, Ontario and are affiliated with a lawyer who has a piece of the business.  They purchase debt from Rogers at pennies on the dollar and then harrass until they get the money.  They may call for years.  Report them to the Police if they are criminally harrassing you.  Alternatively, File a Motion in Court for a No Contact Order.  If they breach it the owner can be charged criminally.

They call my cell all the time with a recorded message.  I hate it!

Spammer call yet again

I just received a call from this number saying they had important business maters to discuss with my husband. They wouldn't release any information to me. Is this a scam for sure?

This is a scam call. I receive this call EVERY SINGLE DAY. I would never pick up, because I assumed it was a scam, and they left a recorded message on my voicemail. They made it sound as though they were from collections or a gov't agency, but I don't owe any money so that doesn't make sense.

And I guess when I never picked up, they started calling me daily and from a few different numbers. This has been going on for at least 2+ weeks. It's starting to get old.

Every number they call me from, I save in my phone under the same entry. That way, when they call from one of the saved numbers, it just goes directly to voicemail.

I got a call so I thought I would play along.  They were looking for a person by the name of Chadwick Parker and they said they were representing a company called GLOBO in Markham, Ontario.  They said they had matters to discuss.  Wanted me to verify personal information, hung up!
