Fax Telemarketers.
I had my home fax# removed from their list Dec 13, 2007 and today I received more faxed adds from them. I removed it again today.
If anybody knows where their office is, post it.
I'll be happy to visit them.

Very simple. Actually make an appointment with them. Waste their time. Have them come to your door.
Be sure to block their car on your own driveway and keep it there until they cough up the information.

Failing that, take a baseball bat to them when they show up at your door.  I'm waiting for them.  Don't care what happens. It will make an example out of them and what people can do about it.

It did not help!  Andy and Anthony changed their company's name:  it is now called "ONE STOP PROFESSIONALS", Since 1989, all renovations and construction, painting, drywall, kitchens, bathrooms, and so on.  However, they did not change their advertiser:  still same company, very likely a phantom company, located somewhere in Richmond Hill, Ontario.  Moreover, they did not even changed their phone number: 416 907-7555.  As Sue suggested, I contacted Bell Canada and lodged my complaint with them.  They stated that these phone numbers are not listed through Bell Canada.

Thank you for your suggestion - I did contact Bell Canada in this regard.  We receive an enormous amount of unsolicited faxes advertising business.  Too much toner and paper are wasted unnecessarily!

Harassing, unwanting spam faxes sent to hospitals from 647-724-3479.

Having t same problems. I desides to call in a nice way the people that is addvertising; If contintinues.... nex week, I wont be so nice.

I have received three faxes.
One 17/11/08 and two today 19/11/08. I called to remove my number. Waste of time.
I called & faxed CRTC. Call Bell Exec Offices. Waste of 52 minutes.
CRTC advised me to lodge compliant with the NATIONAL DO NOT CALL LIST.
(I am registered). I lodged the compliant and followed up with copy of their FAX.
They will charge them $15,000 per compliant.

Keep them coming....

I have called this # to cancel unwanted faxes.

I have also reported this to CRTC.

The do-not-call registry is in effect and I am registered- got three of these things last week, and another today-

Clearly these people do not intend to abide by the law. I will try the Bell customer service.

If more people contact Bell then perhaps they will finally get fed up and DO SOMETHING!! Addresses in above post for 2  Bell departments. I am currently communicating with both via email though some of them do not seem the swifted, anyway, hard to know what else to do!

If Andy the painter told them he wasn't using them any more in May why did I just receive 2 faxes now in August from this number for Andy and his brothers painting company!! I called the painting number and left a message as there was no other number to call for the fax company.

I have been getting repeated faxes from this number and have been calling continuously to have it stopped.  It stops for a day or two and then continues again - I am now receiving every fax in duplicate.  This is very, very annoying and I would like them to stop sending them to me.
How does one get them to stop sending these faxes permanently.

This is the 3rd time I have received junk faxes from this number and also when I call I am told my fax number has been removed. I have sent an email to privacy@bell.ca and executive.office@bell.ca as follows. Don't know if it will do anything but more people need to send emails and mayber eventually Bell will follow up. here is no reason why they can't find out who the company is through the people advertising with them. I have received junk faxes from miscellaneous companies advertising through a service with the removal number of 647 724 3479. I first called to have my number removed November 1, 2007, second time April 25, 2008 and now again August 16, 2008. When calling I am told that my fax number is already removed - well if that is so why am I still receiving these annoying junk faxes - and 2 today telling me the same information!!

This is unfair and should not be allowed. This company - who ever they are should be stopped. They have no identifying information on the fax but I notice online that many others have had problems with this same company - phone number also. Company advertising today is INTERIOR EXTERIOR PAINTING - Andy and Antony 416 907 7555, they can tell you who they are dealing with.

Apparently Bell Canada have done their best but are having difficulty locating who this company is as According to Reverse Phone Number Lookup for 647-724-3479 => Provider is GT Group Telecom Services Corp. (gt.ca) which is owned by Bell Canada. How unusual for Bell!
Recent one was for "Direct Flyer Distribution" with phone number
to call: 905-918-0280 (=> Provider: Call-Net Communications) full of Logos/trade-marks on the Flyer as their customers (Bell, Wendy's, Toyota, Re/Max, Royal LePage, IG Investors Group, Telus and Pizza Nova)

Previously, I have received annoying faxes to my residential fax/phone. I have requested the company to remove my fax number as indicated on the base of the fax sheet, but to no avail. What I have found works quite well is that I relay the received fax to the company being advertised; with a message to the effect "This (insert fax number) is a private residential fax line. Please inform your fax company to refrain from sending further faxes to my number".

I keep this fax plus my message page for future reference. Next time I received the fax, I hit them with their own fax with my message TEN times. I just keep refeeding the pages in turn. It uses a lot of their paper on their fax machine plus their toner. I've done it twice which was quite effective. Now I have trouble with '647 724 3479' so I guess I will do it again. Don't send to the 647 number but the fax number which goes with the advertising company, in my current case 'Design Travel'. They must keep their fax online for business calls.

I am continuing to work with Bell Canada regarding this fax distribution company. I have found out that the most appropriate root to go is not through The Office of the Bell Privacy Ombudsman. Sorry about that. Misinformation that was provided to me.

Since my last posting I have found that the Bell Canada Customer Care team is responsible for addressing telemarketing concerns and/or delisting requests.  Accordingly, you need to contact Greg Root, Vice-President ? Customer Experience, for appropriate action.  A representative in Mr. Root?s group will respond directly to you. Here is the info below. I must say that they responded very quickly to my request! I received a call saying that they will contact the telecommunications agency responsible for 647-724-3479 (as this is not a Bell number) and will request that my fax # be removed for 3 years. Too bad that I already discontinued my fax # because of these irritating faxes. However, hopefully this is helpful info for the rest of you.

this might as well be a hotmail account (mail.com accounts are free), so it is not a professional law biding company, I will call bell, I have already emailed my provinces premier at

I am continuing to receive faxes each week so I am now also considering this harassment! Calling the actual companies on the faxes will help (if you can get ahold of them). I have continued to correspond with Bell Canada on trying to stop these faxes. However, they also called the automated fax removal number only to find that it states that my fax number has already been removed. Also, now that the fax distribution company is leaving a "so called" automated fax removal system via email, I had Bell contact this email address (I did not want to provide any further personal info to this fax service). Unfortunately, Bell has notified me that this email address does not exist! So, this fax distribution company is doing everything in their power to willingly break the law by covering their identity and not removing our fax numbers when requested. Because I am being harrased, I am taking this to the next level by contacting The Office of the Bell Privacy Ombudsman 110 O'Connor Street 7th Floor Ottawa, Ontario, K1P-1H1. Their e-mail address is: privacy@bell.ca. In the meantime, I will also continue to contact the companies using this fax distribution company to explain that they are now involved in harassing me and therefore are also breaking the law!

Further update. I got a prompt call back from Andy (the advertiser, not the fax service), who handled the call very professionally. He said he had already told the fax service that he would stop using the service if he got complaints such as sending outside of the allowed 9 am - 9 pm window, or other problems. He also said he will now call the service about this complaint and to get my number removed.

Hopefully this will reduce the business of the fax service, and stop this harassment.
