Kelp reporting these crimes to your local police department but more importantly report it online through the Toronto Crime Stoppers website. The Toronto police need to know each incident to build their case.  Not all local police departments will pass the info on to the Toronto PD.  

It is your responsibility to report this and all crimes committed against you.  It is FRAUD, which is a criminal offence!

I know its frustrating, keep reporting everything that happened to your police department, if we can collectively build a case around him, this is the only way we can see action taken against him.

happened to me a few weeks ago. He responded to an ad I put up for tickets on kijiji. Gave me the name John initially and then said his name was giancarlo iandoli (thought John might be a nickname). he has a fake twitter that he removed for a bit after he ripped me off, but it is back up right now. said he worked at stubhub. He took 2700 and did the same "if you give me more money I will give you your money back". same impatient douche although he did try to act like my friend. He used the number 16477412346. He acted like he was in the office. I reported him to the cops in kelowna, bc. He even tried to call me after the fact and console me and say there was nothing he could do.

I just read these all yesterday.... after the fact of sending this low life 1000.00 dollars. i put an add on kijiji looking for 4 tickets. he replied with the same email everyone has stated above. on the phone he said his name was "john"but its obvious his name changes quite frequently. and his phone number in my case was 416-908-1710, still a toronto number. i had two people back out on me so i changed my "order" to 2 tickets. so i sent him 310 in his cibc account. then waited 2 days for my tickets or for him to actually respond to me. then he tells me the company wont sell me 2 tickets cause i originally wanted 4 so he said i hd to put another 330 in his account. so i did. then he tells me they are just gunna refund me my money cause of the issues that had gone on and id get 100.00 credit with ticketmaster. then mony was "in" the wrong acct. then he said he needed another 1000 from me and then they could put 2000 in my acct...... im not that stupid. told him i was done. and havent heard from him in 2 days now. but when he wanted the 1000 extra bux from me he got very aggressive!!!!! said he was gunna sue me cause it was my fault the money went into the wrong acct and that he was gunna lose his ticket licence. he said alot of very rude things, infact yelling at me.... pretty much busted his "professionalim" right there. this man has no heart. i will be soooo happy when he is caught. its only a matter of time. i took it to the cops yest and also have an investigator digging into it finding what ever he can. and they said toronto police are looking into it and this may be the ticket to finding this guy. and the more people that report it the better!! would be amazing if we all saw some money back but personally id just love to see this guy where he belongs.he is defenitly good at what he does, tricks you to believe every word,makes himself seem like a friend, and can pretty much cover his a** with every doubtful question. this is the info i have on him.

if he did something similar to you, report it!!! the cops where i live defenitly said this issue is known and me reporting it may be the last ticket the needed. so ill keep my fingers crossed!! i also printed this page and gave it to the cops just shows how many people he is screwing over and shares all his different info.

Christian Franco-Rouso is a name he is using now. could be his real name. pass it on to the police.

Police are looking for him, tell them everything that happened and give them the number he called you with. If you find his address, give him what he deserves.

The current number he is using is 647 712 0529. and its too late....The EXACT same scenerio happend to me a few days ago where I posted a wanted add on kijiji for concert tickets. Made the payment through Western Union to the receiver named CHRISTIAN RUSSO. He then told me Ticketmaster rejected my payment and refunded me $1000. He then said I must redo the payment a second time. I didn't have the money so I did not procede to do so. And now I am being told I will get a refund ( which i highly doubt). He said the money is with "Payments", but said it wasn't my business when I asked what company. BTW, I beleive it is Giancarlo Iandoli, with an I not an L. He is Italian, and the person I spoke with on the phone had an Italian accent. I believe his hometown may be Scarborough, Ontario. It was also stated above that someones money was cashed in Scarborough, funny how Giancarlo Iandoli played for the Ontario Soccer team in Scarborough in 1999.  My money was cashed immediately in Toronto as he was guiding me on the phone! Hope this helps everyone!

Guy scammed me too, ordered tickets for my bachelor party for me and 10 friends. Over $3000 worth, now I am out of the tickets and have to pay back all my buddys

Gary Smith Jaques he claims to work at tickets limited which i dont think is a real place. Repliedd to my kijiji ad and said he had some VIP tickets and would give me a deal if i bought at least 3. Paid at walmarty through a money order but apparrently it didnt go through the first time so we paid through money mart and he said he would refund the money and we would get our tickets. Neither happend.

Some guy called  at 9:30 on a saturday night asking if i wanted tickets for a concert i had posted a wanted ad for. I said yes and he asked where i wanted to sit, when i said they were general admission tickets he said there was 'VIP' tickets as well, so that's what he was asking....Right. Once i asked a couple more questions he started sounding very frustrated and said "Look buddy, I didn't call to have a conversation, do you want tickets or not?" I told him i'd check out the website and as soon as i said that i just heard a click. Doesn't seem legitamate to me.
