The caller acted as though she were my long lost sister or someone I knew really well. Not in a good mood today so I asked if I knew her. She said "no , but it's just my sunny personality getting out" !( I just hate these telemarketers who act like you know them, it just burns me, for some reason) I told her I didn't want to buy whatever she is selling and to never call again. I also don't think this is a very professional attitude to take when cold calling a business, I'd rather speak to someone more professional.

I have received these calls a number of times, and I have listened to them a few times (they really don't give up!) They try to sell an advertisement of my business to put in a drug-free pamphlet of theirs. I looked up the website and it seems legitimate (or they just put a lot of work into this!) and have asked a number of friends about it and I told them when they called that I have asked friends about it and they haven't seen or heard of their brochures. That shut her up pretty quick. I said I wouldn't be willing to invest in (an absurdly expensive) advertisement when no one I knew would even see it. They call back every season. Sigh. I recently ceased my business so I told her last time that I would be stopping and to stop calling. Hopefully that works. Really annoying though. Don't give in!

called again today, so i called 1 800 753 0193 and spoke to a nice lady to get our business number removed without any issue.

called once today, didn't leave a message. if calls persist will use Byn's advice to remove from do not call list.

Call 1-800-753-0193 - you will reach an operator, ask to have your number removed from their call list.  We did and it worked.  The lady was very pleasant

Anyone who cold calls a company and want to talk to the "owner" is running a scam. Simple.

Said they were from Green Planet 4 kids and wanted 250 bucks to run our ad for our business..... keeps wanting to talk to the owner....................... Scam? :)

No message left.  I called the number and got auto-answer saying it was Regional Maple Leaf Communications, publishers.  Gives an 800 number to reach an operator.  Their web site is here: http://regionalmapleleaf.com/

Multiple calls, even after asking to be removed from call list. Is there any legislation in place to deal with this kind of harassment?

Just received another call from this #.  Trying to sell ad in children's mag re drugs.  I've told them not interested several times but they don't give up.  Have called at least 2 - 4 times per day over the last couple of weeks.  I do not answer.  The count is up to 50 times they have called.  Very very irritating!!!!!

Non stop calls, I had to block, they dont leave a message so that tells me it must be very important.

I get calls from them like once every few months.  They want me to buy an ad in a children's safety booklet that is supposed to be distributed to schools in my town but my kids have never come home with one from their school so I think it's a bunch of #rap.  I used to listen to their spiel and politely decline but now I just hang up because they don't take no for an answer.

Lady claiming she wanted our business to spend money on an ad in a magazine that promotes crafts and hobbies to children and teens.

1-647-777-1045   This is some sort of ad company that asks for money to go towards a mag to help teens with drug awareness.   Don't give your money.

Keep getting calls from this number on a daily basis and will not leave a message about what it is concerning when asked to do so. Really getting tired of them calling here as it is a place of business and we do not have time for these types of calls.
