got a call from this same number today May 12 2014. I did not answer and they did not leave a message. A search of number told me it was from CVB which is a collection agency in Toronto Ontario No one in my household owes any money. All have A+ credit rating??? Does anyone one know how to block unwanted numbers?

The person said their from CIBC and that they had an issue to discuss but wanted to confirm my name, home address, birthday... and other but once he said birthday I got suspicious.

I said I wouldn't verify the info until he verified who he was and he said he'd call later can got off the phone quick.

I called CIBC and they said they would never call, at most they would call to say call them.

This # called me at work as well with an automated call stating to hold. When I held no one answered the line and they hung up. They have called multiple times but not consistently. Seems someone is fishing for something.

They called me ad were rude beyound recognition, they were aggressive and intimidating. And would NOT tell me who it was! I owe them nothig either.

they called me, CVV (?) collection services limited (an automated system), then put me on hold...then hung up before I actually spoke to someone!  I, nor anyone in my house owe money to anyone, so i was curious why they called.  I tried to call back, but again only got the automated system.  Seems like a scam to me.

I rec'd a call from this number.  They didn't leave a message.
