David, knowing that the marketing business is a 30 billion dollar a year industry is directly affected by the CRTc's DNCL and 100's of thousands of student jobs are affected by this DNCL does that affect you at all in thinking otherwise then just sitting on your computer and reporting companies that are trying to employ and pay taxes. Knowing that the world is in a rescetion. Think about it this way what if you were working as a marketing agent at a call center or a mail advertiser or whatever, is this DNCL worth loosing your job over that pays you 40K+ a year and makes sure you can keep your home? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm! makes you think twice doesn't it.?

Just got this call. I am on the NDNC list and never ever deal with this company. Enough reason to file a complain to DNC. Call blocked as well. The thing is ..there's no reason/excuse to call if you've been told NO.

Found that Ontario Window and Door called residence several times in the last two days, even though I am on the Do Not Call List.

Found their listing in the Industry Canada website (via Google) and sent an email to the head of Industry Canada asking that their listing be dropped until they come into compliance with the Government's laws regarding telemarketing.

Hung up.

The law is the law, yay the company pays taxes....again...thats the law.......If you or whom ever provides you a list of numbers is too ignorant to quit calling an individual after 4 times of being told not to...then too bad..and it was due to your ignorance when you called that I took it as far as I did.

and so the calls start again..... great job of removing me from your company's list, Thanks oh so much.

Regardless of advertising or whatever their excuse is at the time, especially with this company Ontario Choice Windows and Doors.  I AM SOOOOO SICK of them. How many times must they be told " I am a renter, and we already have new windows... not interested ????

and am on the Do No Call Registry which I use to report them continually
Now I have emailed the company Ontario Choice Windows and Doors and advised them one more call and I will take legal action - the people that come to the phone don't speak english half the time

I tell them my house is a rental. then i make up a landlord name and tell themn to call him.

This place is driving me bonkers! I keep telling them im on the don not call list,they don't listen!

neighbors also had job by Ont. Choice and had many problems with their 'bay wondow' and they installed a 'dented door'.......this co. calls and hangs up...without leaving a message.....so I will let them ring till they get my machine...lol.  thanks for the warning!

Annoying calls

Complain to CRTC if you are on DNC list. Don't listen to idiots posting here saying nothing will be done. I posted complaint and got call back from investigator who informed me that an ongoing case against Ontario Choice Windows is active, and action is imminent. I know someone who got windows from this company, and they were sub-standard and damaged. Avoid. at all costs Ontario Choice Windows!

Will never use this company.

They called around 8:30pm, almost woke up the baby (but not quite).  The person on the other end was conversing with someone in his office, then mumbled his sales pitch for "free estimate for doors" once he realized I was on the line saying "Hello?  Hello??? HELLO?!?!?"

I hung up because I didnt want to be rude and I was going to lose my temper

again you are ignorant and only telling half truths. 'fred' and 'mike' were both told to remove me from the call list...did they? no 4 times+ I get a call from your company. Keep the whining about the recession to yourself...I suppose that because of the recession the law only applies to those who wish to follow it...

can you also not read, how many people have negative postings about your company? But no no, youre right and the other people are wrong? Good way to get business, annoy people over the phone.....hmmmmmm what marketing class did they teach you that in?
