Received a letter in the mail and a check for $2920.00  Called the number in the letter and asked many questions.  Sounded good so the next day I deposited the check and then wired the money at the local Moneygram office for $2400  Of course the funds couldn't be collected by my bank so I'm out $2900

Didn't receive a call, but received a letter and check from Global Compliance Inc. showing this phone number and contact of Mr. Dan Gordon.  Check was for $2,999.00.  Wanted a money gram transfer back of $2,450.00.  So glad I checked before calling and trying to cash this check that needs to have the "security code" taken off before cashing.  Mystery shop at Walmart ($100), Sears ($100) & McDonalds or Wendy's ($50).  Keep the balance of $299 (2 hrs @ $149.50/hour)...  "Employee pay incrases after completion of first assignment."

Looks like another of those "too good to be true" fliers.

If you get a letter and check from Amscot Shoppers World, there will be a number to contact 1-647-830-9119 for a Mr. Paul Williams, he is in Canada and has a very heavy accent.  This is a Mystery Shopping scam and the check will be counterfeit and probably will be for $3250.00, but under $5000.00 the bank is legal, the routing number is legal, the account is legal, the account holder is altered.  You won't know it is counterfeit if you cash it until it goes through processing and it can take up to a week or so for it to come back.  He will ask you to use Money Gram at Wal-Mart and check their customer service and wire the company back $2500, the rest you get to keep.  Too good to be true, you get to keep $500.00.  They have you spend $100 at each shop, mine was Wal-Mart and Lowes, then $50 to eat lunch at McDonald's/Wendy's.  

Please don't let yourself be a victim like I was.  I am an educated person and I even got sucked in.  I have been Mystery Shopping for years as a side gig for fun money and thought I finally earned my credibility and got picked to do some of the bigger shops.  Nope, NADA, NILL, NOTHING!!!  BIG FAT SCAM!!!
