Left msg about some Canadian Revenue Agency tax matter and lawsuit, threatening with an arrest warrant. Left a department file number which I guess one would type in if they called back. Sounds like a computer generated voice and a scam.

Received multiple phone calls from this number. Finally answered today. Was told that he was calling from the "redemption department" -- and that my credit card company gave them my phone number. Said that because my credit card was in good standing.... they were offering me $100 gas vouchers -- plus the opportunity to sign up for two exciting new programs -- that would save me money; Saver City and Holidays Savings... free to try out for 14 days. All he needed was my credit card number......
So what's wrong with this scenario? He refused to tell me what company he was calling from -- or WHICH of my credit card companies gave him my number. AND my credit cards all maxed out! LOL
Anyway -- some kind of scam.... he was offended when I suggested ....

Got a call from this number today, insisting on selling me a Florida vacation. The rep, an elderly lady, ( which makes it even harder to tell to ^&*# off) claimed to be calling on behalf of "Vacations by Newport.com"

I answered them, gave them my CC #, now my identify has been stolen. What a mistake.

We get a phone call from this number nearly every day, when I answer they hang up.

Just received  a call from617-847-1936 and they wanted to give me airmiles and trip to florida if I gave them my credit card #.Told him wasn't interested and to please take me off their call list. He just kept on with his monologue and wouldn't shut up so I grabbed my trusty DESUADER and gave him a blast.(air horn for small crafts at Canadian Tire in the boating section.) My cats left a streak getting away from me and still hiding somewhere. I've used this before to discourage pesky callers and you know what  IT REALLY WORKS.

I just got a call from an automated system claiming I was to receive 2500 free air miles for my loyalty.  The call came in through my mom's number.  I pressed 1 --- was patched through to a male who spoke flawless English.  He asked --- can i have your name.  I gave it to him (perhaps a mistake) and the line went dead.

Yeah, sounds like a skam.  I would have engaged further just to piss the guy off but ... next time instead of impulsively giving my name, I should either add a constible before it, officer, or just simply train myself to instincitively ask --- who is calling

My elderly mom can not be expected to be sharp when I who should know better stumble in the same way.  Greater monitoring and stiffer enforcement of existing laws need to be applied.  Or perhaps tougher laws, I do not know.  But it is unsettling to have such predators out there.

Who is this person or company Please let me know because its annoying.Thanks for your attention.

Frequently received this phone call and also a call name unavailable but without phone number shown on display. An East Indian man mumbling in might be  English about computer ...

They called me and advertised about a traveling agency.

Received 2 calls at once..rang a few times...then one long ring...when I checked missed calls list there were 2 calls from this number at the same time!

Got two calls immediately after one another

Will these a***oles never give up? Haven't answered a call from them in years.

They have toll free numbers. I suggest calling the top dog and letting him know what is going on with these annoying and at times, harassing calls.

I get a call from this number everyday sometimes twice a day.  Supposedly AirMiles Toronto when I googled the number...

Got a call again this morning (pre-recorded message) and after pressing 1 to speak with someone, they hung up. So I called the number back, pressed 1 and it put me through to a rep. I told him to take my phone number OFF their calling list NOW! The man apologized and said he would do that for me.

When they have called other times, I have pressed 9 to be taken off their list but that didn't work obviously. Hopefully now that I actually spoke to a real person, these annoying calls will finally stop. Will post back here again to let you know what happens..

Annoying harassing calls.  I'm never answering.  Tired of picking up phone to 'Ignore'

I keep receiving phone calls from this number sometimes three/four times a day. I spoke with an agent and asked to please do not call again, did not work!  they keep calling.

my phone company let`s me add number to my block list  for free, but when that fails i just add their number to my phonebook and set my ringer tone to none, problem solved.
